Just because it's Rosol, I'll be happy for Rafa to win this match. I don't like that he only raises his game against one player, and I always love when Rafa defeats bloke who face him with animosity as their fuel. Vamos...

He doesn't just raise his game for Nadal. He just matches up well against him. Short balls are just begging to be smacked away and he's only too happy to oblige. Luckily for Nadal there's always likely to be a dip out of nowhere from Rosol like we saw at the end of set 2. Gave up watching after that and he probably won't win more than another 1 game. None wouldn't surprise me one bit actually.
Kieran, I am with Front on this, the short balls and just pushing the balls back in play by Rafa were just as he says correctly " begging to be smack away". Good points Front

Even the commentators are constantly saying, "another ball with nothing on it right down the middle by Nadal". This is why these guys who belt 7 shades of $h1t out of the ball are beating him at Wimbledon in particular. He's well able to rally till the cows come home still but every couple of shots is just a dud ball with no pace or right in the hit zone of aggressive players like Rosol and they're all over it 'cos the ball doesn't have low net clearance and skid over the net with pace, it just sits up in the air asking to be hit hard

Well, if Rosol let's him off the hook here, he's a total donkey.

Surprised he broke back but would be even more surprised if he held serve now.

I'll be very surprised if Rosol completes this comeback! Nadal will definitely be 'over' after getting back into it initially! :cover :nono

Meanwhile, Thiem comes back after dropping a bagel in the first, 0-6, 7-6(5), 7-5. :clap

This is why I feel that Rafa is a quite further from being near the top then he claims. This is has been his story all year, He cant close out any match against top ten or anyone in the top 100.

Imagine you'd get pretty huge odds now on Rosol to win in live betting.
