I agree, this is personal not about tennis.. Again, I think a loss is what Rafa needs..

Why is that?
Because Rafa isn't playing with the right strategy to beat players in the top 10 or even the top 50 consistently. Rafa is taking too many mental breaks, pushing the ball and hitting the ball way too short to cause worry on anyone these days. IMO

However, a win is a win and beating his enemy. Vamos

Hard to disagree with you there but a win is always better than a loss. Especially an indoor win by Nadal.

I don't agree with Rosol about Rafa's time.

Did he complain? :lolz:

Yeah, He complained when he was down 0-3 and he was serving. The Ump was like wtf.. he is allowed to get into position or etc., However, it did work to Rosol's advantage because he raised his game or maybe rattled Rafa a bit, IDK.

Dimitrov is crap. Plain and simple. One of the biggest underachievers on tour currently and reminds me of Nalbandian, losing to guys he should never lose to. Rosol is a much tougher opponent for Nadal.

Maybe, but it's still a match that definitely has my interest.

Front, these days everyone gives Rafa a tough match up.. Remember a few weeks ago in the China Open, Rafa struggled with a former ATP ballboy(Chinese). I think my grandmother could make Rafa nervous and She is old:)angel:God Bless her).

I haven't seen the match but I see Rosol has won the first set like he usually does with diferent players and later to lose the second and the third :p
I need a good witnesses of the match to tell me how Rafa has played though I see the first set not too good :cover

I didn't see all of the match Carol, but according to eyewitnesses, it all came down to who had the shortest balls.

Likewise. I'd like to see it too but I'm long over the hype of Dimitrov. He's disappointed me and many others for a long time now.

"I will be your huckleberry".. Rosol won 100% of his first serves in the 1st set. Rosol punished Rafa short balls with no mercy and really never allowed Rafa to get a rhythm on his ground strokes. Rosol won all the big points and quite a few with net cords winners. The 2nd set was very similar but Rafa keep the ball in play and begin measuring his dtl fh. Rosol began really trying to pound the ball harder which created quite a few UFEs.

Thanks Kirijax, anyway I think this was a good test for Nadal. I've always said that I'm surprised that Rosol is not better ranked because even that I don't have any linking for him I think he is a very good player

Thanks AP, I can imagine a desperate Rosol seeing that he was losing and trying to play with all the risk he could, sometimes with a lucky day it works good but many times not :p

Actually he was winning when it all went wrong, in both set 2 and the 3rd set TB. He was up 5-4 30-0 in set 2 and missed a routine volley and then started missing first serves and hitting errors. Before that he had lost 1 point on serve in set 1 and 3 in set 2.

Well he won 3 slams in the last 2 years. Not too bad really if you're a fan and the polar opposite if you're not. :D

Yw.. Really, I had cashed my poker chips on in on Rafa's chances for advancing until Fiero told me that Rosol could still self destruct which he did.
