Misses a gimme forehand and let's Nole off the hook on a sloppy service game.

The commentator is annoying as hell but he has a good point - that's money in the bank for Roger except when it matters most.

An those 2 games are why Roger is no longer any good. Too much bad tennis and predictably piss poor play under pressure.

I am not watching, but I see that Nole just scooped up the first set by breaking Roger. How is the quality of tennis today?

Sweet. I was worried Fed would come out strong, but he's having a lot more errors today (it seems) than he did in the semi last week.

Link died on me at a bad time (though it's always a good time to shut Greg Rusedski up) - 6-4 for Nole.

I spouted a cliche Greg might be proud of - Federer needs to win the first set. I also predicted Nole in straights. I expect that to happen. Gonna watch Homeland on TV instead of the online scoreboard. Enjoy the rest of it!

This is what separates the top guys and all time greats from the rest. There was a time a few years ago when he almost always a sure thing in "the moment" as Rafa says--another one who is great at those times. Nadal will lose it one day and Nole will too and folks will be asking the same questions they ask now of Roger.

That's true, Shawn. I remember Navratilova once said she felt more fear as she got older, where she didn't think she would...

I can smell his lack of confidence from my TV screen
