Front, I hope you are right. It's OK to daydream I guess.

It's always easier to get to #1 than to hold it!

All the silly posts from Murray fans claiming negativity from Federer and Djokovic fans is nonsense. Clearly Murray deserves to be world number one and deserved to win today. I simply wasn't that impressed by the level in the final. 30 errors from Djokovic was bad for a short 2 set match and the Federer of even early 2016 would've put on a better display. But we'll just have to let him show everyone next year. Definitely good to see the rankings shift anyway as it makes 2017 very unpredictable.
Murray fans..he may have two or three at the most..They were correct..you have been exceedingly critical of Murray but not as bad as you distain for ole Ralphie..Novak was just plainly outplayed today..I tired of folks acting like he is the perfect tennis machine, he ain't..if you keep the ball deep and put pressure on Novak. He will fold just like everyone else.Front242 said:lob said:It is only fitting that after a dozen consecutive years of the giant 3 grabbing ye#1, the next one goes to the Scot who kept his tennis alive in the shadows. He could have wiped it all away with a little more effort in that final! He just didn't seem to care! :nono :cover :ras:
