Nishi reached uso final in 2014. After that a master's final or few. But no more slam finals. He is weak all the time and service is poor. I can't see better years for him in the future.

...and like an idiot I keep giving him credit for having so much talent with weapons to hurt the elite! I keep giving him a chance to make a break through and he continues failing me! :nono  :dodgy: :cover

What I don't understand about Nishikori is what happened to the serve we saw in the Masters he "lost" to Rafa a couple years ago? He looked like baby Sampras.

Wow, horrible mistake from Novak. Let's see if Andy can capitalize.

These guys aren't playing like the the #1 and #2 in the world. Kind of gruesome tennis.

I remember I pulled an abdominal muscle over serving once when I was a kid! Psychological he could be pulling back on it to prevent a reoccurrence! :puzzled :nono  :dodgy:

Andy looks better. But I hope Djokovic will show his mettle.

Both look shaky so far! Too many inexplicable errors with no pressure on them! :puzzled :nono  :dodgy: :cover

Another array of errors from Novak and Murray holds to take the first set 6-3.

Andy is playing at a level I'd call nothing more than pretty good, but at the moment it's enough to beat an out of sorts Nole.

Novak is all over the joint. Muzz gets the early break in the 2nd
