^ Haha, yeah I always find when Rafa shanks it makes more of a loud pop sound than Roger's shanks because of his huge rpm and spin.

A heads up to all Rafa fans, when my insurance company found out I was a Rafa fan, they raised my rates.. At this rate, Rafa is going to shorten all our life expectancy.. Good Grief, just a few drama free matches isnt too much to ask is it!:clap

Do Rafa fans think Rafa finds it harder playing fellow lefties? Ramos is pretty good. Can't say I've ever watched him much if ever before.

He has a 90% success rate against lefties.

I believe that says everything.

^ Nice. Cheers for the link. Ramos is holding his own impressively here so was just wondering.

Wow. Was not expecting Ramos to break right back. He got help from 2 sloppy points by Nadal.

Unlucky. He was bossing Nadal all over the place.

Out of curiosity, I looked up Roger's record against lefties. Over his career, his win/loss record is 98-35, or 74%. If you subtract the 23 losses to Rafa, that leaves a paltry 12, which brings his winning percentage up to 88%.

(If I messed up the math, I'm sure someone will let me know.)

Rafa is having trouble catching fire, but he's trying to manufacture it.

There's a complete lack of zing about Rafa, and he looks like everything Cali criticises him for: a persistent ball-basher who's waiting for his opponent to miss...

Yeah, lefties clearly aren't the issue 'cos no one else on tour produces the same level of spin as Nadal and that's the main problem with the loopy topspin that has won him so many clay matches against Federer in particular.

He's playing passive as hell. So many nothing moonballs down the middle of the court. Ramos' ball striking is far better out there today but he's blown the important points.

Upsets Galore in Barcelona: Ferrer, Dog, Fog, F.Lopez all gone.

Will Dirt Devil be the next to go? He needed a TB in the first set.

Many claimed that Ferrer is better than Federer on clay against the field.
Loses to a no-name player in a no-name tournament.

Didn't even check the result so I hadn't noticed Ferrer lost so early. Poor by his standards alright.
