Sadly, I think a couple of the last comments were lost.We need to bait Moxie for a couple more minutes.
Congrats to Roger...but hell...he should have won that in 3... First man to 20 Slams...come and get him, if you can,, boys...
Roger now is either tied or solely owns the GS record in three of the four grand slam events.
That's a heck of a marker, for sure.Congrats to Roger...but hell...he should have won that in 3... First man to 20 Slams...come and get him, if you can,, boys...
It's not only Agassi that says it. Roger is striding away with yet another record. It's a stellar resume, to be sure. But the defining rivalry of his career is with Nadal, like it or not. And there he hasn't come up so well. Maybe he changes that, late-career, maybe not. And you may not like it, but it is their legacy.Yes, but...you know...Nadal leads their H2H so Agassi says Roger can't be the GOAT...:lulz2:
Tell me about it... talk about winning ugly... But it's #20!!!

Obviously, if there is one, it's Roger. It just don't think there is "One." This isn't The Bible or "The Matrix."So, who's your "GOAT"?
If Fed wasn't from a country that got extremely rich from washing the money of war criminals and tennis would be more financially accessible to everyone in the world there would be ard 50 people on he GOAT list before Rogi.....
You actually explained why there is no GOAT. Thanks.Duh. I know that. I was just being snarky about Agassi because he said it recently in a Swiss newspaper interview before the AO started. As Roger said - he's done things Nadal's never done and Nadal's done things he's never done. Roger's done his things at at 3 different slams. Nadal can have clay...but Roger's even been in 5 French finals, so there's that as well - he's the only man to be in at least 5 finals at every Slam. Eff the H2H and anybody hung up on it. Roger's the GOAT. The end.
