Another seed bites the dust. Garcia out in straights to a nobody. I guess she used her serving allowance against Naomi.

Seeds that lost,
O.Jabeur (6) Ons needs a break, she played worse than when she lost at Wimbledon last year, she is physically and mentally worn, she didnt play a warm up tournament and it showed, I also read she would have tried to fall pregnant if she had won Wimbledon last year
M.Sakkari (8) well at least she made it to the 2nd round :) last year she was going out in the 1st rounds at GS. BTW Sakkari 2-6 in her last 8 slams starting at the 2022 USO
L.Fernandez (32)
E.Mertens (25)
C.Garcia (16) I am not surprised I thought Osaka would beat her in round 1, as I posted the other day Gacia is now a Full Head Case.

Hopefully someone has burnt that Fluro Pink Romper Thing that the Banshee was wearing in her 1st rd match, it should be on a toddler not a woman for starters, she gets to play against the No 1 seed Swiatek

Interested to see how Clara Tausen takes on Azarenka I know someone else will be watching this match as well:)

Kastatkina (14) vs S.Stephens hopefully we wont see Scone on the court today her evil twin of Sloane:)

Interested to see how Raducanu goes in her 2nd round match, she played well, she be able to beat Y.Wang

J.Ostapenko (11) vs Aussie A.Tomljanovic, another Aussie Jelelna plays today

With this current rain delay it gives me the chance of a update from Jen Brady, who had to withdraw from the AO
Jen has posted on her twitter page today, she needs to have knee surgery, she had a set back in the pre season
Jen will be out for sometime, as recovery and rehab process is extensive
During the process Jen has decided to enrol in UCLA for Spring quarter and help womens tennis by being an undergraduate coach.
Jen plans on coming back to the tour when she is 100% healthy.

Iga with a one handed bhand smash angle volley! me likey! she actually made that look easy when it is the hardest volley to hit in tennis!
A seventeen shot rally that breaks Collins and Iga will serve for the 1st set, Iga 1st set 64

The Banshee playing great tennis at present leading Iga 4-1 2nd set
The Banshee will serve for the 2nd set 5-1 since the roof closed she has been on fire and Iga way too passive
DFs from the Banshee while serving for the 2nd set, Iga breaks serving at 2-5
The Banshee will try for the 2nd time to serve out the 2nd set 5-3
Banshee 2nd set 63, a good set of tennis, regardless of not serving it out at 5-1
Going to a decider now

I'm not a fan of Collins' pink pantaloon playsuit, but she holds at love to even the match with Swiatek, and they go to the decider!

It would be better on a toddler than Collins, regardless she did play better in the 2nd set when the roof was closed, even though she had to serve it out twice

I feel that Swiatek is vulnerable. (I don't have her making the final in my draw.) And I think Collins is dangerous for her.

Swatek needs to be more aggressive, remember Collins made the final against Barty a couple of years ago and it went to a TB where Ash won
Iga is tough I would not right her off in this match just yet
Out of the 4 top seeds Iga has the tougher draw

Collins chewed up Swiatek's second serve there on BP and goes up the early break. Swiatek's 1st serve pct. very low.

Huge and tough hold for Collins there.
