Apparently, Taylor's girlfriend has said that if he won that match, she'd eat a jar of Vegemite on Instagram live. I'm pretty sure she was thinking of the small hotel size, but even that is a lot to eat at once. And I LIKE the stuff!

Yeah sure, but he's not conceded a set in any of his matches so the signs are very promising indeed. Go Jannik. Become the first mens champion since Adrian in 1977 French Open :yesyes:
No Italian man has ever won a AO title would you believe, just like Rafa when he was the first Spanish player to win in 2009

It's just salty and umame. But you can only do so much at once. It makes a great broth, btw.

It is a real job. They get paid to convince people to like certain things. It's advertising. Somehow, I'm not sure she's going to do a lot for the Vegemite brand, but she might. They got a jar on court in the interview. And even if she wrinkles her upturned little nose on Instagram, it's exposure. Could be the source of the bet.

Did the frenchman try to mix up his game by coming to the net, not to stay at the baseline and trade groudies with Novak all match long ?
He tried to keep up and only came in less than a dozen times - without good outcomes. After beating baby Ben he did not have a lot of gas in the tank. Add that Novak was playing well and serving well, it was a perfect storm for Adrian. He has no real weapons against Novak and has never beaten him.
Ben would have put up more of a fight and has real weapons.

Mannarino doesn't have any weapons! I didn't have to see it to know Novak would crush him! Reminds me of Lendl destroyng someone like Miloslav Mecir back in the 80's!.They massage the ball around the court and are very entertaining, but usually over-powered by an elite player! :face-with-head-bandage:

At least the Stef v Fritz match was competitive
Now Sinner and KK is the same
I had no interest in watching a match at this level 60 60 63 I switched off after the 1st set, to watch a womens match

At what point did you switch off the Sinner v. Baez match which was 60 61 63?
Please dont make me laugh, Novak has had a easy draw, lets move on, if a fav player of mine had the same draw I am objective enough to say he has a easy draw
Remind me the last time Novak had a hard draw? quite frankly I cant remember

No. You and Vince said that such matches are bad for tennis. I’m not talking about the draw. And I was wondering at what point you turned Sinner off. You probably watched most of it.

I don't know why Jannik keeps flirting with getting broken against Silent K, of all people.
