Not to take away from Lehecka, but, seriously, FAA looking at a great opportunity and comes up short. Very disappointing.
I take your point, still I feel when the tough gets going in matches FAA fades away and lets chances slip by, it is disappointing, he had some great results indoor last year.

Sinner's h2h against Tsitsipas is not good at all, greek leads 4:1. Last year here he lost very easy, but wasn't he fighting some illness? I think it will be a much closer match today.

Somebody remind me why I should care about Lehecka?
Apparently Felix didn't get the memo about this guy and promptly found himself dismissed because he didn't care enough! Really FAA? WTH! He doesn't think there hasn't been enough carnage in this tourney all ready?

MM, double check them beads. I think they are losing some luster, down 2 sets. You may have to make a special trip to Rome and get them re-blessed by the new Pope my dear.

I went to bed after watching Korda push through his nerves and finish out the match. Knocked off two top ten players on the big stage and made it to his first quarterfinal. Very happy for the Korda family. Not as happy having to watch Stepanek jumping around in the players box.

Greek might end up losing this match. He is a mental case as we know so let's see if this goes to 5th set what will happen.

I liked a lot of what I saw from Tsi at the year end championship. Sure, he played two nervy sets today,, but he seems to have righted the ship here in the fifth.

I have been away on family business, so has Novak's hamstring tested negative for being a major hindrance as it appeared a few times nights ago

Yes, you are right. He stayed calm in the 5th and was swinging freely from what I hear. There was also no drama with his family box. It seems to work better for him that way. When Tsitsipas plays fearlessly as when he just came on tour (and for the most part on clay), he is really an exciting player to watch. All this thing with his daddy throws a shadow on his game and he has become not so loved to say the least. Partly also due to feeling entitled for the trophies too. I think he should just work for it like everyone else and stay quiet and play the game as he does now.

Just finished watching highlights of Jannik's match, the most disturbing fact was Jannik could not convert all those BPs he had? though kudos to the Young Greek for saving them.

Fact,
The 2 top seeds in each of the men's and women's events are out before the QFs of a slam the first time in Open Era history

He has been winning half the sets he has played 6-0 & 6-1, It's hard to believe the injury is serious... If he wins AO while "injured" we have officially entered the Weakest Era Of All Time  It's not looking good for next gen or next next gen, they are not up to it in the slams
