Rafa closes the 2nd set. Margaret, I think everyone blew their energy on the Djokovic debacle. It's just you and me watching the tennis today. ;)

Stroke of midnight! You know what happens? ESPN signs off, and if I don't pay money, I can't keep watching tennis. Those feckers! No one in the US is watching any other sports. Can't I just have my tennis? No. Pay an additional $6.99 a month, if you want it. I am so over all of these leeches! :face-with-symbols-on-mouth:

In fairness to ESPN, I complained, and they hooked me back up.

I'm thrilled for Seb Korda, even though he messes up my draw. I really like his game, and he is on my short list for when Rafa hangs 'em up.

Terrible luck for Norrie to draw Korda in round one.
Kokkinakis is minutes away from losing. Winning the title in the previous tournament took too much out of him.

Kokkinakis playing too much up and down, lacks consistency.

Korda win not a surprise to me ( I picked him to win). There are couple of these seeds like Norrie or Ruud, which you can't be too convinced about they are going to make a few rounds considering they are ranked very high.

Aslan in troubles against Munar, spaniard is giving him hard time.

Very odd conclusion to Alexander "Sasha" Zverev win tonight where he won the match but wasn't actually aware and standing at the back of the court , was getting prepared to serve the next point.

Tremendous effort from Aslan to win against Munar in 4 hours and 55 minutes. Day of rest? Yes please!

Worth to mention that he made 107 UEs which is the most ever in one match. Novak had 100 UEs against Simon in AO a few years back.

There was an option to chat with a representative, so I did. I complained that I pay money for so many versions of ESPN on my TV and none of them were showing the tennis, and ESPN wanted me to pay for the ones on after midnight. So that person changed my permissions and hooked me up with ESPN+. But she also said something about a last minute change in agreements with NBC, which I didn't quite believe.

Thanasi, What Happened ? How could he go from putting together four gutsy winning matches to capture the adelaide ATP title to a first round loss?
Thanasi came out as 'flat as a tack' remember too this is the first time he has played 2 tournaments before the AO.He did not have a lot of time to recover after winning the title in Adelaide.

It’s the same issue many of the next gen have had not scheduling properly. Putting your all in playing regular tournaments only to show up to slams on empty.

To be fair,Thanasi has had his fair share of injuries for the last 5 years,he received a WC into the AO this year.He hasn't played much tennis on a regular basis for some years/
