The Spaniard wasn’t that dominant or so far, this level he showed today is definitely beatable. I know he is capable of raising the level, and I’m afraid he will.

The top guys can beat most of the field with their B-game. They don’t need to raise their levels until the QFs, at least, so they’re saving their energy, getting by with the minimum effort required.

No. It's just dumb Mike Tirico w/ diarrhea of the mouth. Twice in the last 3 minutes he stated the big 3 all made their way to the QF. I'm thinking Novak hasn't played his match yet, did I miss something?

My advice: watch the Tennis Channel.

I like Novak’s chances more against nadal. But I’m not sure if he gets there. What can Thiem do after Delpo and Novak ?
Thiem is a physical specimen. I think he can handle a tough schedule,

He hasn't been tested yet. None of the big 3 have really. The rubber meets the road in QF's
I agree. Even Nadal has looked shaky, but this is RG, and he can turn it on at the business end of the tournament.

A bigger problem than woeful NBC is what are they going to do about Nishi/Paire?
