I mean, we're talking about a hypothetical that didn't happen that we can't know. So as you've said, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. Because I agree about the psychology of matchups. I just don't think Novak struggles against Fed as much as you think he does. Not in best of 5.

De Minaur has only speed and youth in his favour imo. He no power 'cos he's way too light. He'll succumb to injuy soon as he's just playing Murray 3.0 right now running down everything. Can't be good on such a light frame

it's not about Novak struggling against Roger. He simply doesn't occupy the mental space in Roger's mind that he does with Rafa. So it makes their matches inherently more dangerous for him. With Rafa it's attritional. With Roger he just has to control himself mentally. It's a different challenge. Any given Sunday against Roger I can see him losing. But the challenge that Rafa presents is really...

Final apart... I think Nadal is trying to morph... He was more agressive and he's added 9 km/h to his first serve and 18 km/h to his second.

I'm waiting on Rublev to get his best back after his injury. Still waiting on that arsehole Kyrgios to figure out he's too good for his bad attitude. And then I think Medvedev has a very bright future. But I mean, I think they all do. I don't think one will dominate. And of course they still have to contend with the Big 3 for at least a couple more years if not more.

We'll see, tented. Tsitsipas imo has a much better game to watch but his ROS is very poor. Roger made him look way better than he is. That said, there are tons of points on Youtube showing his potential besides ROS

Just woke up from a very much needed nap. See that Nads got handled. Yikes! Congrats to the Novak fans

I have to say I love what I see in terms of the changes to Rafa's game. Kudos to him. If he's been like this from the start I might like him better

lol! Just teasing. I did say this one could be a straight setter. Just patting myself on the back, since no one seems to have the good graces to do it :D

Yeah Rafa's game plan change has been the talk of the tournament. It's why he seemed unplayable to me in most of his matches. So maybe he is trying to morph to contend with Djokovic and this was just the first step in the process.

Well, there's a first time for everything. ESPN says this is the first loss in straights in a GS final for Nads
