it's not about Novak struggling against Roger. He simply doesn't occupy the mental space in Roger's mind that he does with Rafa. So it makes their matches inherently more dangerous for him. With Rafa it's attritional. With Roger he just has to control himself mentally. It's a different challenge. Any given Sunday against Roger I can see him losing. Yeah Rafa's game plan change has been the talk of the tournament. It's why he seemed unplayable to me in most of his matches. So maybe he is trying to morph to contend with Djokovic and this was just the first step in the process.
