Yeah. Djokovic still struggles with Fed's serve more than Nadal's. And Fed's game doesn't play right into his strengths. But... Fed's a touch too slow now. Just... one step too slow. Not saying he can't beat Novak. But it's gonna take a monumental performance from him to hang with Novak at this level. And it'll probably have to be at Wimbledon.

Federers 2nd serve return kills him against everyone tbh.One of the biggest disparity in 1st and 2nd serve returns

I mean.... Fed's second serve return tonight wouldn't have mattered. Best case scenario you win 40 or 50 percent of someone's second serves. Novak served at 65% first serves and won 85% of those.

@Federberg yeah I could see Federer getting more games for sure even in his current form but the result would be the same tbh. Against Nadal,Djokovic can suffocate him on both serve and return games

Fed's game is tailored to beat right handers, including two handed backhands. And he does well against lefties too because he's amazing. He couldn't really have prepared for Nadal's game.

But Novaks game is fairly conventional. He just does it better than anyone ever has. So Fed can deal with it better.
