@Obsi man, when in a hole stop digging.... Agassi reports that Novak is physically 5 years younger than his age, and within a couple of weeks, he's out for the season.

Let's be frank, Novak isn't getting any younger and he's not reproducing the form of a 25 year old Novak either. Father Time waits for no man. Novak isn't 25, hasn't got the body of a 25 year old and is injured.

It is what it is.

The bigger question isn't Novak's virtual age, it's if he can return to the top of the game.

Actually, you're digging. You completely avoided this argument:

Novak's style of play is very taxing on body and yet he needed to reach age 30 to have for the first time in his career an injury as serious as the one Nadal had when he was 25 years old (you know what happened in 2012).

Correct. Novak has injuries at 30 that he didn't have at 25.

Correct. Novak has injuries at 30 that he didn't have at 25.

You again completely ignored my argument:

At age 25 Nadal had an injury that forced him to miss rest of 2012 season after Wimbledon.

Novak has injuries at 30 that he didn't have at 25.

It's logical because his style of play is very taxing on body.

I missed the bit on the original interview where Agassi said Novak was the same as a 25 year old Nadal... just a 25 year old... which in context I assumed was a 25 year old Novak Djokovic.

No, insulting is

It's very indicative that so far you never attacked my claim that your persistent use of  is a childlish thing to do. You know you're a childish individual.

Has it ever dwelled on you that your posts make him (and others for the record) want to hang their heads in shame at what they're reading and hence the face palm.

You should seriously consider a better example than Nadal in 2012. Seriously. He won the French Open as usual and lost to Rosol in Wimbledon. Newsflash, he has been crap on grass for years so that was not any surprise. His hardcore fans will blame that loss on his supposed knee issues but he looked physically fine to everyone else. He took a bit of time off. Big deal. They're all doing it lately. He was physically fine and ready to play the AO 2013 but skipped it 'cos of a stomach virus. Hardly life threatening now is it?! Pick a better example such as a guy who had a career ending injury...

It doesn't matter whether Agassi said Novak was the same as 25 year old Nadal. You claim that Djokovic missing the rest of 2017 season due to injury means he doesn't have body of a 25 years old. But when I tell you that Nadal at age 25 after Wimbledon missed the rest of 2012 season due to injury, I put you into a position from which you cannot escape.

It's childish to use that emoji so persistently.

What if Novak decided to take time off because of non-physical issues? Can you prove that's not the case?

Body of a 25 year old? Anyone in particular? Rafael Nadal? Novak Djokovic? Donald Trump? Stephen Hawking?

Fact of the matter is, Novak is exhibiting the traits of a 30 year old tennis player not a 25 year old. Your timing was unfortunate with this thread...

No, it's not a fact. It's an opinion. What is a fact, though, is that 25 years old tennis players do get injuries that force them to take long breaks.

Your timing was unfortunate with this thread...

On the contrary. As I've already said, Djokovic's style of play is very taxing on body and yet he needed to reach age 30 to miss a slam. It's speaks volumes about his body.

Maybe you've forgotten all the times he wussed out with retirements. I guess that was all gluten related lol.

Nonsense frankly. Any Top 10 tennis player of any age will be physically in better shape than an "average" 25 year old man. An average 25 year old man wouldn't be fit enough to compete in a futures event.

Can you prove what was the reason for those retirements?

Nonsense is your claim that Djokovic missing the rest of 2017 season proves that Agassi was wrong to say Novak has body of a 25 years old. It's a fact that 25 years old tennis players do get injuries that force them to take long breaks.

I ask you again how do you explain that Nadal at age 25 after Wimbledon missed the rest of 2012 season due to an injury?

Lack of conditioning. Poor cardio.

His team decided it was best to rest. See, that wasn't so hard now was it?! And it was clearly not a very serious injury. No surgery required and no visual impairment to his movement before he took his break.

No but it sure doesn't look like it. What is this? 20 dumb questions? Equally so you can't prove anything you claim either.

dumb questions

A person who first throws insulting comments during debate, is the one arguing from a position of weakness.

I guess you're so dumb that you cannot accept a defeat in a different way.

ANYONE reading this whole thread can easily see the dumbest person here is in fact you, with your claim that a supposedly superior player is better than the holder of the most slams in the open era and currently dominating the ATP tour at almost 36 years of age and miles past his prime. Last time I checked 19 > 12 and hopefully 20 soon. Stick that in your pipe (pun intended) and smoke it.

Btw genius, where does insult come into this? They are mostly definitely dumb questions and no, I'm not defeated in the slightest lol. As I already stated, last time I checked the inferior Federer had 7 more slams than the almighty Djokovic.
