When did I say Nadal was the only one who was slow? Kyrgios directed his points at Nadal only so the comments were about him naturally enough. I agree he needs to try harder but he didn't speak any garbage and that was all I was replying to after Carol's silly rant.
OK my bad fair enough.:rose:

Then you didn't see how slowwwww was Kyrgios walking between the points when he was playing against Nadal and Stan and how many times he moves the arm up and down when he was serving, hey! there are many ways to waste the time and Kyrgios of course is not the most appropriate person to talk about it . Nadal in the press conference talked too good about Kyrgios and this one should be quiet instead to talk garbage

I didn't watch it but Kyrgios never struck me as a player who was slow. He had strappings on both knees, is frequently injured because of his lanky frame and also had food poisoning so if he in fact was slow, then that's why. And he didn't talk any garbage. He spoke the truth. Pretty hilarious reading a disgruntled Nadal fan moaning about a player being slow btw.

What truth? it's a lot more hilarious reading a Federer's fan defending what Kyrgios does and talk and yes, in that match he was very slowwww between points when he didn't have any injury in his body

You'd describe Kyrgios as "lanky?" I wouldn't. But according to most, he gets injured frequently because he hates to train.

Are you really that dumb? He's had knee problems for ages now and very recently too he skipped Rotterdam and had both knees taped against Nadal. He's had knee problems since the start of the year. Guy is practically always carrying some injury and also had food poisoning against Nadal but he didn't skip the match. He played with a stomach issue unlike Nadal who famously skipped a whole slam 3+ weeks before it started (AO 2013) because of a stomach virus. Feel free to keep lying to yourself though if it makes you happy.

Maybe lanky was the wrong term as he's not skinny but he's very hunched like Gasquet. Terrible posture which likely doesn't help his poor fitness.

Actually my PT made the same observation as you regarding his very hunched back,he said to me he could have major problems long term and also will affect his serve if he does not correct the problem.

Yeah...it seems you are that dumb, can you explain me why he played so well to Stan and next match to Zverev without any bandage around the knees and moving so well and so fast? I don't know how much injured he has been bu NOT in Acapulco as more that you insist about it , now its my turn to tell you feel free to keep lying to yourself though if it makes you happy and come on, specially you who likes to talk about others and their 'fake injuries' but only when it's very convenient for you...what a ####, you are a joke

I did think of mentioning the posture in my above. Poor alignment often causes hip, knee and back issues, particularly, and especially in a repetitive motion sport. I think you said this earlier in the thread, but Nick really needs a good trainer.

As Carol said, above, you do choose when you believe a player has injuries, and when you don't. Nadal's knee strapping in 2008-09 meant nothing to you and a lot of Fed fans when he lost at RG, even though the knee problems were known, and also sometimes apparent. That's selective believing of a player, on your part. The fact that you can say the bolded above, and not notice the irony vis-a-vis Nadal's chronic knee tendonitis and your attitude towards his other injuries makes me have to laugh behind my hand. Also, there's nothing "famous" about Nadal skipping the AO for lack of proper preparation, after a 7-month lay-off...only that you yourself keep hammering it. And pretty much you, alone.

Carol can be very protective of Nadal, and go on a rant about it. But she's not wrong about your double-standard, on this point.

Indeed he does, still he has openly admitted he does not like training.

Of course I'm protective of Nadal because all his enemies like Front and others are showing around and of course its very obvious they are that way because they are TOO protective of Federer. Come on, I've never seen more fanatics and fanboys than they are!

So he doens't practice too much...ok, I hope he won't finish his career like Nabaldian with 0 GS but the difference is that the Argentine was much better player

You're not wrong that they can be an arrogant and fanatical bunch, as a whole, though not always as individuals. And I do often feel a pattern of double-standard. A lot of anti-Nadal bile gets thrown around, carelessly, and that gets really tiresome. ("Cuntdal," anyone?) I try to work within debate. You like to throw it back at them. You do you, girl.

Indeed. Let's be a clown and mention Federer when we're talking about Kyrgios  Someone has issues.

Right so, in 2009 Nadal won the AO, Indian Wells, Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Rome and he also reached the finals of Rotterdam and Madrid and all while running around like a gazelle. That's why he had strapping on and he and his team have said it's precautionary strapping. He skipped zero events up until Wimbledon. Kyrgios skipped Rotterdam because of his knee and lost early at the AO this year 'cos his knee was bust. Rotterdam was only a few weeks ago. Big difference. There is no double standard. The Nadal camp are just being stupid and standing up for their hero as always even when they know they're wrong. I mean honestly who is the fitter player? Nadal or Kyrgios? It's a no brainer. Kyrgios will probably lose early in Indian Wells with another injury.

Nadal skipped the AO 2013 because of supposed lack of preparation you keep saying. Sorry to inform you but 6 years later in 2019 he had no preparation and played the AO so that's bs and you know it as it's not like people need less time to get fit and practice as they get older...6 years older in this case.
