And we're going three. I must say, on men's and women's side, today has been full of really good finals.

Impressed with the maturity Tomic is showing. Not sure what clicked on in him this past year, but it's great to see. Without that brain cramp in the first set, he'd be lifting the trophy. Now for the decider

You don't buy my theory that he's been shown up a bit by Kyrgios and Kokkinakis?

This looks more like a quality decision rather than a reaction. Nick and the Kokk might have been one of the factors.

Where ever the push comes from, I guess. But Dimitrov could use some of that motivation, and he doesn't have the same baggage as Bernie. And he has a better game.

Grigor's best energies seem to be saved for the bedroom and tennis gets the passive leftovers.

Meanwhile, Bernie seems to have lost the plot here.

And Dominic does it. His 6th title, I think, and first on HCs. (All others on clay.) 2nd in this month of February. He's coming along nicely.

Missed the last two sets. Thought the first set was quite scrappy, so I'm guessing the match got better?

Oh, yes. Once they settled in, they were both mostly very good. Thiem was overall very convincing. Bernie raised his game in the 2nd, and, though he did get a bit passive in the 3rd, came back for the fight towards the end. Thiem was too consistent at the end, but it was a good showing by Tomic.

I hope Thiem continues playing so well, I like his style and it's time that a young player resurge
