Thiem on his upcoming match with Dimitrov describes him as "such a great entertainer"*, not a competitor. Well said.

Thanks for sharing, EG. He has an adorable accent. I don't know if he meant anything by the comment, but it was perhaps a bit of smack. Which Grigor deserves. Dimitrov had better work hard not to get beaten by "Generation Next," but I hope Thiem gets him. He's a slacker.

Well, Thiem x Dimitrov and Dolgopolov x Tomic are two very interesting match ups.

Thiem jumped out 2-0. Dimitrov finally got on the board, but Thiem is hitting solid and strong, in spite of the windy conditions.

Really fascinating match between Thiem and Tursunov. Dimitri is mounting a comeback after 1 1/2 years out. He's ranked past 1000, I think they said. He's playing aggressively and taking it to the kid, who is starting to look like a favorite in the tournament. And they're both scrapping for it.

I am glad that Dominic managed to win this match. I watched it last night and was so tired that I fell asleep in front of TV on my couch. Woke up at 1:30am all messed up.

Thiem wins the set #1 7:5, at the business end of it he was the one with a steady hand.

Bit surprised at the H2H between Dolgo and Tomic.

Who have you to win these semis? (and if, different, who do you want to win)?

I'd like to see Thiem and Dolgo go through... and think will go with those as predictions too.

I hope Thiem goes through, and I'd like to see him get the title. Between Dog and Bernie, I'm rather neutral...each has had his own trials, which I feel sympathetic about. I think Thiem v. Dolgopolov would be the most entertaining, though.

I just caught the last game of Dolgo vs Tomic. Nice result for Bernie. Sam looks to be in good form, it should be an entertaining 2nd semi.

Dimitrov went away easily in the 2nd set last night, pretty disappointing from him.

Thiem breaks Sam in his first service game, after it looked like a comfortable hold for Sam.

The young Austrian looks to be ready to go to the next level. Let's see if he holds his nerve. Set and a break up.
