It never ceases to amaze me how the bias, agendas and double standards become so evident among fans whenever a player is involved with drama.

thiem is on the up..he dispersed the fog. top40 rank pretty soon. yeeeeeeeeeeee.

noooooooooo.

seriously, loosing against Geraldinho Melzer, not good. so far, Thiem's 2015 has been underwhelming, with the exception of Miami. in October, he was lodged right in the Top 40, closing in on the ever-so-important #32. now, he's in the 40ies, no chance on getting seeded at RG. at least he's still ranked higher than he was at the same time last year.

If you check on previous pages, I was actually mentioning your name, wanting to see your opinion about Thiem losing to G. Melzer, which was shocking to me. Not because Dominic lose, but who he lost to.
G. Melzer is playing the challenger tour and has not been able to crack higher than 148, coasting there.
Thiem was fancied as an up and coming talent, but lately, he is not able to penetrate anymore and his results are quite underwhelming.

Muzza wins his first clay title!

It wasn't easy, but Murray finally defeats Kohlschreiber 7-6(4), 5-7, 7-6(4) to take his 32nd ATP title and first since last October. Way to go Muzza!

lol yeah OK.

I'm sure you thought Soderling was a complete tw*t when he retorted to Nadal by pulling his underwear down.

I'm saying Murray telling Rosol "Nobody likes you on tour. Everybody hates you" was ridiculous and also how would he know? What have most people besides Murray, Nadal and Garcia Lopez got against him? Probably nothing. So Murray's childish rant was uncalled for and saying stupid crap like like that is no better than Rosol's actions. And for the record Soderling's actions were childish but he was getting fed up with the time wasting and lost his cool.

Or maybe players in the locker room talk to each other? So there's a lot of behind the scenes talk about Rosol and his attitude? Seems more likely than Murray just making that up in public like that.

Murray's a miserable git ffs. Who'd take him seriously?! I frankly can't see why anyone besides the 3 above should have anything against him. They're more likely to be annoyed by Murray shouting come on at all their errors and roaring like a baboon when things aren't going his way. Besides these 2 "bumps" what else has Rosol done exactly to be disliked by all the players? He doesn't stall in matches and serves and plays fast. They should like him 'cos he makes so many errors most of the time he loses but he has the potential to blow many of them off the planet if he worked on his game.

Murray's 32nd title ties him with Andy Roddick and John Newcombe for 21st on the titles list! Next up is Orantes, Ashe and Wilander with 33 titles.

I think quite of few of those guys titles are a bit more impressive somehow in terms of what those titles are :p

^ not as far as Andy R. and Orantes are concerned. Ashe probably yes, but that's actually quite close. it's really just Newk and Wilander who are a world apart from Andy M. if we look at the quality of the titles.

Carol and everyone else who didn't get the memo the first time around. This thread is about Munich and nothing else. Anything unrelated will be deleted.

They're not gonna be naming a stadium after Andy Murray anytime soon and that should be all you need to differentiate between Murray and Ashe :p

You know you're on tennis frontier when Murray wins his first clay title yet most of the messages are still negative towards him.

Well done Andy, a good week and not easy by any means to get past some of the opponents this week.

Onto Madrid.

No one said it wasn't a good achievement to win a title and it was indeed good but simply stating the obvious: Murray is no Ashe, Newcombe or Wilander.
