And this is her first GS , 8 years following her bad defeat in the US Open final where she could only win three games against Stephens.
Thanks Tossip ! As Keli said FINALLY my Madison is no longer my SCUB. Baby Girl is a GS Champion!!Congrats to you Antipusher!! what a beautiful wedding present for Maddy and her husband.
Also, a Top 10 seed in Danielle Collins, in the 3rd round. 4 Top 10 players to win the slam. Maddy really earned this one.She really beat the true big three Rabikina, IGA and Saba!! (plus the MRS MONFILS) the hardest draw EVER
I think you have to go back to USO 2023. Remember, she had Saba on the ropes in the SF, and she bottled it. Add all those tough losses last year, especially to Jaz at Wimby and now she's ready.Madison Keys at 29 yo, changed her mindset, changed her serve, changed the racquet
Shout out to her coach and hubby Bjorn too. Incredible!
Yes she did, sour grapes on behalf of Saba,Did Saba just stand next to Daphne and say see you next year? LOL! That girl is a mess
no one can say she sneaked a major. That is truly earned! Also, a Top 10 seed in Danielle Collins, in the 3rd round. 4 Top 10 players to win the slam. Maddy really earned this one.
Madison showed incredible mindset, I thought after the 2nd set, she might have gone away, to her credit she stayed tough and deserved her winI think you have to go back to USO 2023. Remember, she had Saba on the ropes in the SF, and she bottled it. Add all those tough losses last year, especially to Jaz at Wimby and now she's ready.
The most difficult draw EVER.. Isnt it fair to say that Madison was the PRINCE(NESS) that was promised to US over 14 years ago! Also, a Top 10 seed in Danielle Collins, in the 3rd round. 4 Top 10 players to win the slam. Maddy really earned this one.
Hi MM.. that was the difference the Hubby\Coaching is what helped her with the problem solving.. For me this the best two ladies to watch!! I hope we get another few GS championship finals with these 2!Madison Keys at 29 yo, changed her mindset, changed her serve, changed the racquet
Shout out to her coach and hubby Bjorn too. Incredible!
Yes you do have to have problem solving, but at the end of the day it was up to Madison to come out and complete the game plan and she did it with belief and convictionHi MM.. that was the difference the Hubby\Coaching is what helped her with the problem solving.. For me this the best two ladies to watch!! I hope we get another few GS championship finals with these 2!
For sure. She kept in touch w/ Linds even after they split as a team.I also think Lindsey Davenport would be very proud of Madison, her one time coach and mentor, Madison has a similar game to Davenport.
If Maddy moves into the top 10, who's moving out?Madison is very popular in the locker room,
Madison rises to 7th in the live rankings a career high.
The USA has four woman in the Top Ten now
I will have to recheck , and post tomorrow, I know Badosa is back in the Top TenIf Maddy moves into the top 10, who's moving out?
