I blame Babycakes for Tits resurgence. He had opportunities to put the Greek away (where he would have slumbered in mediocrity). But due to his crap return, multiple BP's went begging.
Yep it was a match Matteo had in the making, indeed he missed his opportunities!

I never drink tap water in any country full stop, people can pick up bugs eg gastro etc, if the water isnt filtered properly. I also boil my tap water at home :) though I must say our tap water here in Australia is safe.
Great advice. @the AntiPusher Never drink anything that didn't come from a can or bottle w/ a seal on it. But this goes beyond liquids. You have to be careful w/ fruit and veggies in some foreign countries because if they are not cooked you can pick up bacteria and/or parasites as well

Acapulco ATP500 final has just begun between Machac and Foki
Keli you will be pleased to know Machac shorts are not as 'short' as they were yesterday:)
There will be a TB for the 1st set, fitting as both players have been 'sound' in their respective service games, though I will give the edge to Machac, his serve has been outstanding in this 1st set.
Spoke to soon, Machac pulling up his shorts UGH!
SP for Foki as Machac BH long, Foki 6-5.
No, Machac perfect 1st serve continues 24/out of 24.
Machac with SP 7-6
Machac wins the 1st set 76 (6) outstanding 1st serve 24/24 losing just 3 points on his serve in the entire 1st set

Machac has been impressive in the 2nd set with a double break and will serve for his 1st ATP title 5-2
Foki just ran out of idea's in the 2nd set, body langauge not good, he looked like a beaten man sad to say, quite frankly nothing he could do as Machac has been most impressive in all aspects of his game, especially his 1st serve which has been outstanding! A flawless performance!
Well done to Tomas Machac winning his first career title in Acapulco 76(2) 62 just immaculate serving was his platform
Heart break for Foki he remains with no ATP titles presently, not much he could about it, he was faced with an onslaught with the Machac serve!
BTW,
With this win Machac is set to make his Top 20 debut when the rankings come out on Monday!

Trivia question: Without looking it up, guess who the richest tennis (current or former) player is?

Hmmm, interesting question! Until recently on court it would obviously have been Novak w/ him 5 of the top 10 record $$ for a season; 2015 the most successful @ $20 M alone! In the last season, record amts. are being won by the N-Gen of Sinner & Alcaraz! winning less, but taking in more $$ I heard Borg signed a PR contract giving him $500 M, but I c/b mistaken! OTTH, since the Tennis Intelligentsia & fandom believes Federer's the BOAT, I'll say Roger probably has made more off-court $$! Nadal has plenty of business interests so he's probably way up there too! :fearful-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth::partying-face:

Not Venus, Maria, or Pete.

It is Ion Tiriac. A Romanian player of the 60s-70s. Got into business and is a billionaire now.

I must be getting old! I knew this and even let the BOARD in on it yrs. ago! He was a 2X billionaire yrs. ago really! He had the nerve to have The French Open set up a new section of seats paying $2 M a few yrs. ago too! I think he still owns the Madrid Masters; may've sold it! His early wealth was cheating his "managed charges" like Vilas, Ivanisevic & Becker out of $$$$! :angry-face::astonished-face::yawningface::anxious-face-with-sweat:

Mrzz,
Just saw the score for Fonseca v Kotov in the Phoenix Challenger, he won in SS against Kotvov 62 64, he will play Struff tomorrow, I must say it is a very competitive challenger, with the players that have entered.
