I guess being hard court Mexico is no longer part of the Golden Swing. Frankly no idea why is called like that.Quite frankly Zverev has struggled on this Golden Swing,

Agree, my commentators still insist on calling it part of the Golden Swing even though Mexico is played on a HC.I guess being hard court Mexico is no longer part of the Golden Swing. Frankly no idea why is called like that.
I disagree Meddy at that point was struggling at the AO, I am still out on Tien, he has good potential, there are holes in his game, I cant say he is No 1 player material to me even from 4 years from now. When Tien starts to have more consistent wins, on the tour, just not one off wins against players, like Meddy and Zverev,, lets face it both players are struggling with their games,at present, that is when I will give him more attention.,I'd still say the win over Medvedev at the AO is the biggest win of Tien's career. Winning a match at a slam is much more important than winning a match at a 500. The win just solidifies that Tien is no fluke, and that he's here to stay. You don't beat Top 5 players like Medvedev and Zverev shortly after turning 19 if you aren't something special. His rise reminds me a lot of Jannik Sinner when play resumed in 2020 after COVID. Don't be surprised if Tien is the #1 player 4 years from now.
“On more than one occasion we have seen Novak put on a similar performance, with facial expressions and body language that contradict what we are seeing on the court and that cast a certain doubt on the authenticity of his problems.”
Great point.. My first trip to Cancun.. someone (I think it was the waitress or my wife) put ice cubes in my orange juice during breakfast. I got the "bug" Montezuma's revenge . the parasite was in my system for more than a month. I lost 25 lbs. I was sick for a while.P.S.A. DO NOT DRINK THE WATER IN MEXICO. This includes ice cubes in your drink. Several players had to retire/withdraw w/ food poisoning (Holger, the Ghost, Tommy)
I never drink tap water in any country full stop, people can pick up bugs eg gastro etc, if the water isnt filtered properly. I also boil my tap water at homeGreat point.. I didnt know, I went to the men's restroom and the orange juice was deliver in my absence.I never drink tap water in any country full stop, people can pick up bugs eg gastro etc, if the water isnt filtered properly. I also boil my tap water at homethough I must say our water here in Australia is safe.
It is just a good tip for people that travel a lot to different countries, especially places like Asia, South America. though my daughter picked up a bug drinking tap water in France? better to be on the safe side then having gastro problems that can ruin your holiday or business trip, taking gastro tablets with you is also a good idea, just in case you might need them,I didnt know, I went to the men's restroom and the orange juice was deliver in my absence.
