Saw some of that. The Banshee was all over the place. Lost easily a very winnable match and was seen crying on the changeovers. Not sure what's happening there. Lindsay decides to replace Collins in the doubs w/ Taylor and it took them awhile to get into the match. Finally pushed it to a match TB but was probably spent by the time they got there.

I didnt see the singles, only watched some of the doubles match, maybe The Banshee still not 100% fit, she did have a hip injury

Slovakia sealed a SF sport, with a 2-0 in both singles rubbers in their QF against Australia
Slovakia will now meet GBR in the SFs as their defeated the defending champions Canada in the 2nd QF 2-0 in both the singles rubbers

SF between Poland v Italy
Singles Linette (POL) vs Bronzetti (ITA)
Swiatek (POL) vs Paolini (ITA)
Doubles,
Frech/Kawa (POL) vs Errani/Paolini (ITA)

This tie will come down to the doubles at Bronzetti (ITA) d Linette 64 76(3)
Swaitek (POL) d Paolini 36 64 64
Errani and Paolini sent Italy to the final with a 75 75 victory over Swiatek and Kawai. Forza Italy!
Italy will face either GBR or Slovakia in the final.

Congratulations to Italy who are the winners of the 2024 BJK Cup ( for the fifth time) with a convincing 2-0 win over Slovakia ( last time Italy won the cup was in 2013)
Well done to Slovakia making the final, they had a great week!
