What's concerning for me is that Emma N took a WC for Monterrey.

Maybe she didn't want to withdraw, so she took the graceful exit. I'm sure she made plans to play that because she had no idea she would go that far in Cinci
Seeing she went far at Cinncy she could have withdrawn quite frankly

In Mexico
Emma Navarro (2) came back from being a set down 36 76 76(2) over Osorio
In a earlier match Svitolina d Avanesyan 64 63, there was no handshake at the net from Svitolin, even though Avanesyan is now playing for Armania ( previously Russia)

In Cleveland final,
Going 3 sets now as Kessler won the 2nd set 61 against Haddad Maia, she has found her game, as Bea gave her a bread stick in the 1st set
Her full name is McCartney Kessler I wonder if her parents were great fans of Paul McCartney, of the famous Beatles :)
Kessler and Bea play the same type of tennis, solid serving and also solid from the baseline, not trying to give a 'inch'

First time finalist McCartney Kessler wins her maiden WTA title in Cleveland defeating the top seed Haddad Maia, appart from Hadad Maia she defeated 3 top seeds to get to the final
3rd set both players went toe to toe and Kessler got the break before a TB and won 7-5,
Kessler d Haddad Maia 16 61 75
Well done McCartney Kessler!
Kessler is now No 63 in the live rankings
Kessler has to get to NYC ASAP as she plays Kostyuk in her first round match, the way she played today, Kostyuk might be in some trouble, if she can replicate her fiorm today

Their match so far in this 1st set is like the 'carbon copy' of their match in Cinncy, a tight battle and it will be a TB for the 1st set
Noshova squeezed through in the 1st set and won 76(6)

A poor service game early in the 2nd set from Miss Sun, and Linda breaks and consolidates and leads 4-2

Congratulations to 19 yo Linda Noshova winning her WTA Maiden Tour Title in Monterrey, defeating Miss Lulu Sun in straight sets in a closely fought match 76(6) 64 ( maybe a bit of a revenge seeing she lost to Miss Sun in Cinncinati last week)

Hopefully, the first of many for Linda. I really like her game. She just needs to be more consistent.
