I mean she could keep Brad as her overall coach and just bring on a specialist (consultant) to fix the serve and another one if needed to address the FH.
Question not an argument. Has Brad Ever taken a player outside of the top twenty and made them better. Brad has always been the beneficiary of someone's hard years of work which is not his fault? Coco needs someone who can break down every aspect of her game to an certain extent. Coco is a very smart lady who has to realized that fh extreme semi western grip is not low bouncing balls or off speed balls. I think someone like Hingis could give her the confidence to use the talent that she has and learn to move her foot better. I am not talking about foot speed but " the ability to put foot to ball".. e.g Iga, Rafa, Novak and Roger or Graf was the best I seen at that. Serena could fix her service with a week of intense bootcamp service drills. E.g my tennis coach would put me through some very intense drills on stroke ball hitting until I was about to loose my "lunch" and then when I was ready to walk of the court he would say " now give me 100 serves in the row off the wall without taking a break. " This drill put an heavy emphasis on perfect service motion and follow through while be pretty close to empty in the fuel tank. Later whenever I would get into long service game e.g. 8 or mor deuce, I had the confidence that I could clear the net and always produce a well placed serve regardless. I hope this makes sense.

I'm not sure what Jimmy's desired engagement would be. Not everyone wants to give up their "day job" and travel on the tour w/ a player. It really will come down to who she clicks with and what is their preferred schedule.
True, I have no problem with 2 coaches, though they have to be in 'sync' with their coaching and on the same page

I don't know that answer because I don't know all his past coaching assignments. You don't like Brad and that's fine. You cannot argue that he brought the girl's game and belief up so that she won a slam last year. We can go back and forth about would she have done it at some point if she stayed under her father's tutelage. But that is pointless, the reality is she won several titles, beat Iga for the first time and then won a slam all after losing in R1 at Wimbo and hiring him. There's a correlation there whether you want to acknowledge it or not.

It's really that I don't like Brad but rather disappointed that the young lady's game is not where it needs to be with all that talent she has. Remember when Sampras had one of the Gullison twins as a coach but he passed away earlier in Pete's career. Annacone took that raw natural talent of Pete's and molded him into the perfect attack weapon that destroyed Becker and really was a bad matchup most times for Agassi. Coco should be at the young Venus level. If Venus was in this era knowing what we know, she would have over 10 grand slams possibly. Yet, Coco is still so young and there's plenty of time. There's ONLY two consistent players currently Saba and IGA who are great yet both has moments of being mentally fragile at times. Just my two cents worth.

I hear that is playing pickleball these days.. I dont know if he has went fully retired like Jack Sock.
I think he wasted his talent because he had a game that had a lot of variety to it.Hopefully he can come back to play doubles only and make good money.

Very true.. I'm from Chicago and II have some little more insights about the Young family which I would just say simply very poor decisions on his career by his entire team. e.g. I know I have stated this previously but when Donald was 17, he was offered to come to Mallorca to train with Rafa and Uncle Toni when Rafa was the #2 ranked player in the world. the young family declined. Well we know the HISTORY now.

That was an opportunity of a lifetime, and his parents didn't want outside help or a different coaching team.He would have been a top thirty player, and making a good living.Wasted a golden opportunity and I guess we will never know what that could have done to his career.

Congratulations to Ostapenko and Kichenok wining the Ladiies Doubles at the USO, their 1st GS doubles title together defeated Mladenovic and Zhang 64 63 from 1-3 in the 2nd set!
Ostapenko and Kickenok did not lose a set to the final and won their match in straight sets!
BTW Kichenok postponed getting married because she was in the SFs at the USO and then winning the USO doubles title is 'iconic stuff'. :)

However, since Krejcikova won Wimbledon, she is automatically qualified for the WTA Finals. Collins is on the outside looking in right now.

That is Incorrect, I suggest you go to the WTA website and view the places and rankings currently of the top players and it goes on points, regardless if you have won a major. that is where I get my up to and current standings on the Race to the WTA finals, only 8 players go through, though they usually take an alternative just in case of sickness, late withdrawal, in that case at present standings it would be Zheng going on the amount of points she has.

I am going on the official WTA website rankings for the end of the year finals and it dosent state that Barobora has qualiifed at all, at present 2 players, Swiatek and Sabalenka have I suggest you go there. That is where I get all my rankings from BTW.
At present Krejickova has a guaranteed spot if she remains in the Top 20.If a GS champion falls in the No 8-20 range on the leaderboard, she can qualify.
I only post the current rankings of the Race to the Finals at the end of the year. When/or if things change I will post it.As it stands now Swiatek and Sabalenka have qualifed
