I think she is, she has a good overall game, in 2023 had a lot of injuries, she has the game to be a top ten player, making the QFs at the AO and coming through qualies to make the final, she played a very good match against Iga

By making her first WTA1000 final Paolini will make a Top 20 debut, No 14 if she wins the final

Jasmine Paolini confidence soared in Dubai, she lost 1 set to no 11 seed Haddad Maia, since that match she has not lost a set enroute to the final, she saved 6MPs in her SF match against Cirstea and won in straight sets.Jasmine is trying to become the second Italian champion in Dubai, since Sara Errani won it in 2016.

Anna Kalinskaya came through qualifying,Anna defeated No 9 Ostapenko ( rd 16), defeated Gauff No 3, (QF) in the SF defeated Swiatek No 1 in straight sets
Anna is bidding to win WTA1000 as a qualifer, since Caroline Garcia won Cincinnati in 2022.

Iga looked very angry..lol.She was ready to win Dubai again but Anna had the final say.This match was like her matches against Penko ,where her opponent takes the racket off her hands.

I think the reason Iga looked angry was she was frustrated, she played poorly, this surface was quick, and players that go hard and flat into her fhand wing and keep aggressive, have a good chance of upsetting Iga, who needs time to adjust her feet, for her shots, another surface she has trouble on is grass.
