Jesus Jannik 5 BPs and you could not convert one of them, beginning of the 3rd set, that service game might come back to bite you!
Rublev won the 1st set 63 and Sinner the 2nd set 61
Well it did come back to bite you as Rublev broke you and leads 2-0 in the 3rd set,

Sinner trying to outlast Rublev who's held serve in the 1st game of the 3rd set; now breaking Jannik's serve up 2-0! Sinner's gasping for air w/ these long, protracted rallies! His illness did him no favors tryin' to defend this title; esp. w/ all these rain delays! UPDATE: Sinner almost out!:exploding-head::fearful-face::yawningface:

Sinner looked tired and out of form.
He had to play 2 matches today Moxie, I think he just ran out of gas, he played well to win the 2nd set 61 against Rublev, it is only the 3rd time Rublev has defeated Jannik their H2H is now 5-3

When he shows up he really shows up
Rublev defeated Sinner 64 16 62,

Nishikori v Arnaldi which is their 2nd match today, players having to play 2 matches due to the rain wipe out of yesterday

He has just had a bout of tonsilitis which had him bed for 1 week he could not get out of bed., reason he could not play at the Olympics, give him break for goodness sakes , I was suprised he was trying to defend his title at Montreal in the first place.

Sinner will lose 800 points, though he has enough of a lead,
Novak loses 1000 points on Monday

I understand all of the parameters. I hope it's just residual illness. Otherwise, he's not doing his reputation for a bit of fragility any favors.

Tonsillitis is a real illness, it is viral, and you can sad to say get it more than once in your life time, these days we dont take the tonsils out like many years ago, it has to be very infected and more than once that we take the tonsils out sorry to upset your fragility concerns this has nothing to do with it.If older people keep getting infected tonsils we take them out as a precaution for cancer btw.,because in older people the tonsils can turn cancerous

I hope Keli puts up a new post for Masters 1000 in Cincinatti
Draw is out, just going through the projected draws for both Sinner (1) and Alcaraz (2) and first round matches, also while watching Matteo playing Nishikori, who are also playing twice today in Montreal :)

Oh, believe me...I've had terrible tonsilitis, and it was chronic in me at Jannick's age. I'm not unsympathetic to his recovery, just a bit disappointed, given that he had the Olympics break.

Well some people get over quicker, terrible tonsilities than others, I had a bad bout in my 60s and my ear nose and throat surgeon told me if I get another bad bout my tonsils will have to come out as I posted they can turn to cancer in older people, touch wood I have not had another bad bout
