Interesting, given their rankings, the H2H Ruud v. Tsitsipas is 1-1. Or, was. Great win for Ruud! He needed it. Tsitsipas probably did, too, but who cares?
Oh well Stef had a opportunity to get back in the Top 10 if he could win Los Cabos, not that I cared :) Ruud played really well to make the final

In a match that went 3hours and 40 mins Jordan Thompson is one win away from winning a first main career title as he defeats Zverev (1) 75 46 76(2) to reach the ATP250 Los Cobos final
It's his 4th career Top ten win
Thompson will play Ruud in the final

Watching some of the Mensik’s game against Monfils, two things I really like: His 1st serve and easy power on both wings. For an 18 year old, he has tremendous power which is really good.

Two things I kinda don’t like about his game: 2nd serve and his movement. His 2nd serve is easily fixable as I think he is just trying not to DF and just wants to start a rally. On the other hand, his movement especially his lateral movement is something to keep an eye on. If he is able to become a much better lateral mover, then he can become a very good player. If not, he will struggle on the court especially against players that can move him around laterally.
I re-watched the highlights of his match again, he is actually quick when he is moving forward. So, when he needs to come to the net, he won't have a problem getting quickly.

One more thing, he can be patient in the rallies when he needs to be patient. This is actually a very good trait especially for a young player with easy power on both wings.

It's like he was belting them to tell Garin stfu with your annoying grunting (sounds almost identical to Alcaraz actually). Point over!

Just posting this here but it's not news. Love the first comment and the shot to win the point.

"Bro the disrespect to walk away before it even bounces is insane :D "

The fact that a half-baked Rafa took this version of Jordan Thompson, which won a tournament a month later, to the brink should make me feel encouraged about things. If Rafa is healthy (yes, this is a big if), he will win tournaments during the clay season and be a top contender to win his 15th French Open.

Novak Djokovic nominated for Laureus World Sportsman of the Year ( Djokovic has won the award four times)
Djokovic can tie with winner Roger Federer for the most time a tennis player has claimed the honour.

Denis just can't catch a break! I saw he was up a set & literally ready to break Murray to serve it out! I wake to this! Poor thing! What happened?

Murray happened :) lol! Murray raised his game in the 2nd and 3rd sets, and deserved his win, and his 500 tour level win on hard courts! Denis is still a 'headcase' and his DFs in this match cost him when it mattered most!
Denis used his PR for this tournament, I feel he needs to play lower tier ATP tournaments to get his ranking up he needs more match play not going out in a 1st round of a tournament
