Concerns about Sinner's hip. He seems to be having pain in it. It may not be worth finishing the match.
My biggest concern is that I am hoping and praying it won’t be a chronic injury and affect his career. I already experienced this with Nadal and his chronic injuries.

He has just broken Zverev and it is 5 all so it looks like he will at this stage he will continue

But, Sinner gets the break back for 5-5! On a fantastic point.

Now Zverev has to hold to stay in the set.

One of my concerns is Sinner's failure at present to convert his BPs he had plenty in the 1st set before he broke Zverev and could not convert, maybe it is lack of match play but still he has to able to convert his BPs

Oh well it is raining again right at the start of a TB, they played a couple of points, I wonder how long it will last?
It lasted around 1 hr in the womens 2nd SF earlier

Supposedly there's sunshine behind it, so, hopefully brief.

Actually Sinner was asked the other day about his hip, he said it was fine, he was more concerned about his lack of match practice and preparation, than his hip, I guess if it was too bad he would not be playing on in Cincinnati as he needs match play before the USO

I have to think that a rain delay helped Sinner more than hurt. He needed to get a bit of work on the hip, maybe, and have a chat with the team. He needed this set, and I hope he can win in two, if he's having any pain in the hip. Or, even if he's not. Forza!

Zverev will have to get over losing a set that he served for, if he wants to change his fortunes.
