Novak withdrawing from Toronto is starting to feel eerily similar to Nadal post-2021 French Open. Like with Nadal in the 2021 FO semifinal, something didn't look physically right with Novak in that Wimbledon final. Then, Nadal decided to withdraw from Wimbledon, the Olympics, and eventually the US Open. I wouldn't be surprised if Novak ended up not playing the North American schedule and the US Open. Even if Novak plays the US Open, I don't see him winning. Remember, Novak was only 31 when he last won the US Open, and that was 5 years ago.

I think it's a bit early to throw dirt down the hole on Novak. I don't see that anything was physically wrong with him in Wimbledon, though I can imagine he's suffering an emotional hangover after that loss. And sure, he hasn't had great success at the US Open, but I find it hard to think he'd skip it.

Thanasi Kokkinakis back from 0-4 down in the 3rd set TB to beat Gael Monfils 16 63 76(5) and reach the 2nd rd in Alanta, big win for Thanasi who had a couple of heart breaking losses, tough one for Gael in his first tour match since RG.

I saw a player from a distance and thought it was Taro D., but it's Kei N.! I didn't even know he was still on the tour! His PR isn't going to save him against "porn-stach" Thompson more than likely! Jordan has "enough" zinc oxide on his face for the entire stadium! :face-with-hand-over-mouth: :astonished-face: :fearful-face:

It's absolutely HOT as Lucifer's home base in Atlanta.. You couldn't pay me to go watch a match in that heat unless it's Beyonce & Margot Robbie playing in bikinis

It was the reason I didn't think Kei had a chance in this match! His body has betrayed him time & time again! He has more ability that's for sure, but Porn-stach is blowing his chances kvetchin' about calls! Kei isn't part of the Big 3! Thompson should be embarrassed for this effort! :face-with-hand-over-mouth: :face-with-tears-of-joy:
