Noting on the draw challenge current standings, @don_fabio is soaring above the rest of us. If you discount the people that we don't even know, which is most of them, he is #1. Even given them, he is #2.
This year draw is ugly, Hurkacz out, Cilic out, Berettinni out, it's too much. Novak Nadal final is looking even more as a possibility now.

Rafa needs to wear a hazmat suit when he’s not literally on the tennis court.

I am not kidding.
Rafa is respectful of the protocols, or was. Plus, he seems to have a great fear of his loved ones being sick, and with Mery pregnant, I'm going to bet he's still being cautious about Covid.

And as the NYTimes pointed out, Medvedev out due to ban, Zverev to injury, and Hurcacz already out to upset, (and they didn't mention, but Roger still not back...,) well, as you say, it's getting ugly.

I hope Mery dosent come to Wimbledon even if Rafa goes deep at Wimbledon

I've read that a few days ego Berrettini, Cilic and Novak had a dinner together, I can't believe that Novak without being vaccinated could be the virus carrier? it would be too much!
Probably the worst decision. When you come into a slam, you have to come for the tennis. Everything you do off court should be in preparation for on-court. No abstract dinners or lunches w/ anyone other than family and team members. With this thing so highly contagious, you have to reduce your contact points.

I just feel so bad for Berrettini, or anyone for that matter, who gets Covid. You know Matteo was playing so well up to this point on the grass, what a shame. Cilic also ill. I agree with @MargaretMcAleer, you have to be so careful, and this is a GS event. It shows you that even though you are vaccinated, it may not protect you from those who are not. Frankly, a player of Berrettini's caliber, should be practicing with his team and eating meals in his room - ALONE!!

Henman commenting on Rafa match. Berrettinni didn't by law have to pull out. He could have chose to play... But he didn't want to risk passing the virus around & making people ill. Wimbledon is going to try and out do AO for Covid media attention

Is Henman on some medication we dont know about? what a insane comment from him.
If Henman or Andrew Castle are commentating at Wimbledon I just mute them....

He's just saying Wimbledon is doing what the government rules are. It's ok to carry on if you have Covid, it's wrong. But unfortunately it seems to be personal choice if a player plays on.

Ralphy looks very rusty thus far but it's expected since it's been 3 years since SW19 last visit. Court footing has been an issue but again it was expected..No worries

I am sorry that is just Madness to me, 'it is okay to carry on if you have COVID' I have no words.

Well if it's OK to carryon if you're infected, I have to believe the tourney isn't spending any time, resources or money on daily testing. What would be the advantage? They don't care about protecting anyone it seems (players, fans, lines people, ball kids, drivers, groundskeepers, strawberry providers, etc). You're correct, absolute lunacy if that's the case.

Exactly it's not just the players who are affected, it's many other people who help the tournament run who are needlessly being put at risk.
