I’m glad he won, but beating the current version of Stan — on grass, no less — isn’t a shock or great accomplishment. If it had been Berrettini or Novak, I would see it differently.

Rafa has improved his grass play,against Wawrinka, I saw video's of his sessions against Dimitrov and Majchrzak, which was poor quite frankly.Roig said physically Rafa is fine, getting used to the grass,they are taking it slow

That’s why I don’t view these results with any grain of salt. If Nadal wins or lose matches, so be it. I am more curious on his match to match progress at Wimbledon.

As for FAA, same thing for him. At least he knows what to do to improve his game at Wimbledon.

Agree, they are just extra practice sessions on grass, though I am glad Rafa has got some extra practice on grass,.Lets see how he goes when Wimbledon starts.

Our boy Sinner defeated today by Tommy Paul in 3 sets 63 36 63....though I am not surprised with the loss, especially on grass

I just wish he skips Wimbledon this year and continue to treat his nagging injuries. He will fare well better at the NA Summer HCs than in Grass.

I hope his knee will be okay, though apparently he had some type of treatment on it before he decided to play on grass.Agree HC is a better surface for him.

Watched some of the match at Hurlingham between Tiafoe v Alcaraz
Alcaraz has a lot of tape on his elbow, at least the elbow brace is off.
Tiafoe won the 1st set 64
