Carlos is a hungry dog, Tsitsipas is a shampoo model…
For which brand? Can't be Head & Shoulders because he's not that good. Something to remove dandruff for sure. Maybe Pantene or Garnier because he's not that bright... :lulz1:

I'm really not sure why so much is made of Le Pen being supposedly so far-right. Macron is a complete pos who showed during the last 2 years with covid you're only free in France when you do what he tells you to do. He's a fascist pos. The way he spoke to his country during covid was a disgrace. Neither are great candidates but there you go, that's politicians for you.
I'm replying to you in the news section:

A lot less than 70-80 years since George Bush Jr. and Tony Blair gave the go ahead to blow the complete shit out of 1 million Iraqis, falsely claiming they had weapons of mass destruction when they knew damn well they didn't. Not defending Putin one bit but he's nothing compared to those 2 and yet there's no talk about trying them for war crimes. Western propaganda of Western leaders = good and Russian man = bad guy make me sick. It's not good versus bad, it's bad versus worse and the US have always been the world's biggest warmongers. Who sanctioned the US for blowing the living shit out of Iraq ? No one because they basically rule the planet. The double standards are laughable. Way I see it, the west know damn well they screwed up with lock downs during covid and crippled their economies and are now trying desperately to get this money back from Russia through sanctions of a magnitude never ever seen before and never implemented on other nations. A blind man could see it.

For the record, Sleepy Joe before he became so sleepy was a big time warmonger, I guess it takes one to know one as he has some nerve calling Putin a war criminal...

Don't forget, NATO are meant to be the good guys. It's OK to blow the shit out of countries when you're supposedly the good guys.

I didn't see the first set of Djokovic d. Khachanov, which he lost, but in the 2nd and 3rd he looked best he's looked in nearly a year...just fantastic. Rublev d. Fognini was over so fast I blinked and missed it. Still raining in Barcelona. I don't see how 2 matches get played today.

If they get a window I'm sure they'll put both on different courts.

EDIT: I just checked and they are starting in the next few minutes.

Indeed they do need a roof..Usually the weather in Barcelona this time of year is warm and sunny. The players will have to adjust tomorrow.
Which is why I'm sure they won't afford a roof...this is unusual weather for Spain. Just bad luck.

Nothing was as bad as Rome back in '84 where even Chris Evert had to play 2 matches in a day! Manuela Maleeva had it even worse; having to finish a QF match, then win a SF, laid down for 30 min. and went out there to defeat Evert in the final in straight sets! Not sure it was on US TV! At times we were lucky to get the Majors on the Networks; w/o Aussie Open! Back then the Men's Final was taped-delayed and cut down to 1 1/2 hours at 2 AM on ESPN! Not sure this will help or hurt Carlos in his push to do well at FO next month! :astonished-face::shushing-face::fearful-face::face-with-hand-over-mouth::yawningface:

Carlos has a few tournaments to play before RG.We have witnessed 'unusual weather world wide' this year.In Sydney we have been in floods, having torrential rain for most of our Summer and continuing into our Autumn, quite frankly I forget what a sunny, warm day is anymore:) ( Colour me Dead I can see the sun today lol)

It just becomes battle of the fitness. Interestingly enough, Alcaraz had to play both SF and F in the same day to win his ever ATP 500 (Rio) earlier this year. It was also on Clay too…

Bonus fun fact of the day. Thanks for that. Alcaraz v. De Minaur, Schwartzman v. PCB. Frankly, at least 3 of those guys seem good to go the long yards. Not sure about De Minaur. Well, at least there's a break before Madrid, right?

The one player that benefited today is PCB. He played a total 429 points on Friday to reach the semifinals. So, he is probably happy he gets somewhat a day off today. De Minaur should be fine because he had one match in which his opponent retired after losing 6-0 in the 1st set.

I am just happy that Nadal is not playing this week at Barcelona or else...whew!

Speaking of the Clay God, I saw something on Twitter where Rafa was showing Carlos something in his upper rib cage area during his practice a few days ago.

I haven't watched the match Carlos vs de Minaur, does someone know how many ENF have done each one?

Only saw last of the 2nd, beginning of the 3rd. There was comment made that Carlos hadn't been playing his best. De Minaur looked good and speedy.

Novak just took the 2nd in TB in Belgrade, and much talk about hi being not in great shape...seems to be a bit worn out after "so much tennis." Took an 8 minute toilet break after the set. Apparently, they'll not assessing point penalties for that in Belgrade they way they did against Tsitsipas in Barcelona.
