Argentine doubles team Baez/Etcheverry levels wins the 2nd set 63 over Nadal/Munar.
Nadal/Munar win the match 63 36 10-4
I'm watching the highlights. Rafa looks like he was serving bombs tonight..any thoughts on his Play.

I dont know what more Scott can say on this matter,I already posted what he said on this post.,regarding his visa being cancelled.
Indeed, and he may just reiterate his position, but the very fact that he feels he needs to speak to his people about it I find fascinating. This whole thing got very big, and beyond tennis. For us tennis fans, that doesn't happen very often.

In ATP Cup news., (Yes, snore, I know,) Sinner won the first tie v. Russia, and Berrettini v Medvedev up next. At least @kskate2 and I will care. Could be good. Meanwhile, Spain is in the SFs, and PCB is playing some very good tennis. Folks should be worried about him at the AO. Take note for your draw challenge.

Berrettini is going to have to make some changes is he's going to beat Medvedev, or take the next step. Grip it and rip it isn't going to get it done. How about placement on serve? And how about not planting so many into the net?

On a serious note: With Djokovic not able to play AO, Medvedev and Zverev have the golden opportunity to become the Number 1 player in the world. All Medvedev and Zverev have to do to become world number 1 is to win the AO title. Just straight forward scenarios for either one of them. Both of them control their destinies. Also, they will be seeded 1 and 2 respectively so...it is on their rackets.

I thought this would be a straight sets win for Meddie....lets see what the Hugo Boss man can deliver in the final set

Also, if Nadal can somehow land on Rublev's quarter and Zverev's half, I will be cautiously happy. On the other hand, if he lands on Medvedev's quarter, yeah...lol

As of right now the Top 5 seeds will be

1. Medvedev
2. Zverev
3. Tsitsipas
4. Rublev
5. Nadal

Rublev is the biggest biggest beneficiary here as he gets his own quarter. Zverev is a close 2nd as he does not have to face Medvedev until the finals.

He doesn’t have a plan B..very similar to Sharapova..hit the ball hard..If it isn’t working plan B is to hit it harder
