Its an excellent idea because it adds more to his net skills and gives he a narrow range for his return of service.. this will be better than practice and will give him more matches. His recovery should be monitored and hopefully he can go 3 rounds in both singles and doubles.

Night match from the ATP Cup,

Tsitispas sets aside from his match with Hubert Hurkacz.He has a ice pack on his right elbow, ( he did have surgery on it in the off season).Good decision seeing that the AO is just a few weeks away.
20 year old Aristotelis Thanos ranked 894 in the world replaces Tsitispas.
( Tsitipas did play doubles later).
