What in the world? Med was 2 pts from the match in the TB and he misplayed a volley at the net. Djoke wins the TB and then Med walks up to the net and retires.

Djoke is more surprised than we are. Asks are you sure and Med says yes.

Lol Medvedev retires out of nowhere. Anyways I think he exposed Djokovic enough to know that 2023 will be slamless for Djoko. :popcorn

Looks like Meddy needs some meds. But seriously, since AO loss he is not himself on the court and just this week when it looks like he is getting his mojo back then he does this.

What a bizarre match! I hope Medvedev really bounces back next year. It is bizarre watching his highs and lows this year.

I agree. Nadal destroyed him mentally and now Djokovic is taking advantage of that.

I think there was a lot more to his year than that AO. He had that injury that had him out part of his season. The whole Wimbledon debacle was also an unfortunate moment for him as well. It isn’t that hard to see why he has had a complicated year.

You just can't help yourself! Pls seek help w/ these delusions! They're becoming progressively more & more imaginary and desperate! :astonished-face: :face-with-hand-over-mouth:

Bro, it’s a fact. Meddy won the USO trashing Pushovic and then lead Nadal easily in the AO final until GOATdal reversed the match. Meddy never bounced back after that. If he had won the AO and therefore his 2nd slam in a row then he would be way more confident. That loss especially the way it happened after having a huge lead destroyed him.

Turns out to be an adductor in the leg. Shockingly quick...no one saw it happen. Hopefully, stopping right away will mean he has some tennis left in him this year.

Same with the Greek after being two sets up in a slam final loses and has never been the same player since...

Sure but what Nadal accomplished is harder because he mentally destroyed a slam champion and no.1 player in Meddy. Mentally destroying Tsitsipas is like destroying Dimitrov or something, not comparable and much easier. :bye:

Just some updated news on the Nick Kyrgios assult case which has been adjourned until February 3, when the tennis player's lawyers are expected to apply to have the charge dismissed under mental health grounds.
Kyrgios lawyer told the court that the athlete's mental history since 2015 made the application appropriate, citing a number of public statemenst made by Kyrgios.

Rafa Nadal will travel to South America later in November doing exhibitions he has asked Casper Rudd to accompany him.
I will post the dates and location's on the Rafa Fan Page.

Hi Don,
Abductor issue apparently I watched the match, thought it was bizarre how he just stopped, though I think he did the right thing, abductor issues can take time to heal,. Meddy even in the 2 Master's tournaments on HC before the USO, to me, had lost his way, both tennis wise, serve and ROS. also mentally, he could not defend his USO title, which did not surprise me.Lets see how he competes for the rest of the year, depending on the injury.

" At 1-0 in the tie break, I felt a click in my left leg.At first I thought it might be a cramp. After the point I immediately felt that I had pulled a muscle. My head was spinning. If I would play a 3rd set I could have torn the muscle completely".

Daniil Medvedev.

Thank goodness Novak pulled that TB out or there would be no final to see tomorrow! Saved by the real GOAT! Some 500 we got! :face-with-hand-over-mouth: :shushing-face::face-with-tears-of-joy:
