If members can call each other "asshole" in a forum, there is nothing wrong if a player is called "Garbage" (at least the player is not reading them); Moreover, I believe the term "Garbage" is less offensive than several terms being used by several members in this forum.

As for how the name came in, it was just because her name which is starting with "Garb" and you should know that. Many members including admins called Fucsovics as "fucks"; Also, how about people calling the young greek "Shitsipas"; I have never seen you revolting and going on a crusade over that. What happened to your fine sensibilities there?

“Opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks.”

First, I'm the Admin who calls Fucsovics, Fucs. I never use a k in it. It is his name by way. Second, if you're going to quote me do it correctly.

  1. "Fucs" is not his name; his name is "Fucsovics". If you find it too long, you could address him by his first name Marton, especially when there is no other player with the same first name and so there is no possible confusion.
  2. It does not matter whether you use a k or not, it has the same insulting effect. I am sure his parents did not want people calling him that way. Don't try to absolve yourself by a technicality. Just be honest to yourself.
  3. You are not the only one who addresses him this way; there are several others too.
  4. I don't have an issue with you or others (including me) calling him that way; I am just trying to point to the discrepancy here and the holier than thou attitude.

Friday Day 5 interesting match-ups,

Garbine Muguruza (11) vs Ons Jabeur.(21).....a match of contrasting styles, with these 2 players,Garbine plays first strike tennis, while Ons uses her all round variety and can slice and dice her way around the court. For me this is the match of the day.

S.Stephens vs L.Samsonova, Sloane has been impressive in her 2 matches so far though she faces a tough test with this powerful serving Russian and will need to be on her 'return game'.

I.Swiatek (7) the talented youngster is getting better on the grass, she is a former junior Wimbledon champion and plays I.Begu.

E.Rybakina (18) vs S.Rogers who has been the surprise packet on the grass at Wimbledon so far.

Elise Mertens (13) vs Madison Keys (23) whose game does suit the grass, though she must play 'controlled tennis' against Elise.

1. Don't be deliberately obtuse. Fucs is a part of his name. If you saw that in print and didn't know how it was pronounced, I guarantee you most people would say that's probably Fucs-so-vich. I shorten many players names because I don't want type that all the time. Dimi for Grigor, Saba for Aryna, Simo for Halep and Fucs for Fucsovics. I can't help that the first part of his name can be associated with another activity.
2. Just as I am sure Garbine's parents don't want her being called Garbage (which is not even apart of her name). I'm not absolving myself. See #1 above.
3. OK. So take your issue up with them. When you say an admin is doing something, it can only be me or Trent. So tread lightly if you don't want to be called on the carpet.
4. There is no discrepancy. Again see point #1. Who has a holier than thou attitude?

Sloane getting hit off the court by the powerful Russian Samsonova, who wins the 1st set 62...Samsonova recently won Berlin, could she be the Dark Horse? she certainly has the game for grass.

Sloane has rebounded this 2nd set. Unfortunately her coach (King) is going to run out of fingernails to chew on.. jajaja

Well Sloane needed to,though this is their first meeting, her return game will be vital in this match, she can win this match, but needs to be aggressive and controlled

Tuning into the match on centre court match between Garbine and Ons 4 games on,Garbine did have a early break.

Garbine has a BP and she breaks and will serve for the 1st set 5-4
Garbine has had 2 falls on the grass so far in her service game is down 2Bps saves one, saves 2BPs with good serving
After 2 good serves,she serves a DF
Ons with another BP
Good BH down the line from Garbine
Hell open court for her fhand in the corner from Garbine and she over plays it
Ons with her 4BP
Ons with her 5BP that came off Garbine racket
Great get at the net from Garbine, good rally from both players and court coverage
DF from Garbine and Ons 6BP
Fhand wide from Garbine and Ons break
Back on serve in the 1st set 5 all

What's wrong with being a cougar.. There's some good looking cougar potential Moms tour related ( Sloane Stephens and RAFA'S mothers ❤️)
There's nothing wrong with other people being a cougar. But, I'm not the one. Don't get me wrong, Matteo is great to look at, has a very nice game and is a really good guy. I admire him from afar though
