Novak knows tennis patterns when rallying to a surreal level. Add that to a exceptional retrieving ability and the ball seems to slow down a fraction on his side of the net.
This is so reminiscent of Barry Bonds in his "hey day!" No matter how hard a pitcher threw the ball, it looked as if it was in slow-motion as Barry yanked it out of the yard with no problem! Its amazing he was able to do that; esp. with how many managers just walked the guy intentionally! It's like that with Nole saying he has no real competition at the time and is being gifted majors without Fedal to stop him! More horse$#!t of course!

No. I think it is only your frustration. And some like you.

90% of the tennis community hates Djokovic. They rooted for Berrettini today. I think I'll take the majority view over yours. Maybe you should address your own insecurity.

Good point. Novak's mind is at a grand masters level..if you watch Roger , Rafa , Stan or Dominic and Stan game. They're are massaging the ball for a lack of a better word than just hitting through the ball..These guys are the BEST.

Is it frustration because of your favorite or they supported Berettini, question for you?

A better question for you - When has the crowd EVER supported faker over ANY opponent? Oh that's right. Never.

You did not answer but I will not follow you. I am not coward to escape answer.
When I was present on Nole's matches 20 rows around me were silent, only my voice was there.

The truth is Djoker has his fans. I like him. I get it; he isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. He is going to outdo Roger and Rafa. They will each have their own records that Novak can’t touch. He will never be as well liked or received as Rafa and Roger are in the tennis world despite outshining them in achievements.

This was easily the worst Wimbledon final I've ever watched. dj was there for the taking but berretini couldn't even get the basics right. faker is very lucky that he's getting to play such jokers in his 30s whereas Fed had to play prime joker and prime Nadal.

That first set was an abomination.

Barry Bonds was a known steroid user. Tennis is filthy too but they just don't care anymore 'cos the top guys make them so rich.

I disagree. I think if I saw anything is that players like Shapovalov and Berrettini are almost there. If they take their losses to heart and can find a way to cut down on errors, they can contend. A few points really separated matters. I commend Berrettini playing in his first final. As I said before, you half those errors from Berrettini, and you could have had a different match.

He did well considering it was his first slam final and also considering he wasn't fully fit.

Are you implying this was a glorified MS level tournament because Rafa and Thiem wasn't participating

Nobody in the right mind would fathom the chances of either Rafa or Thiem in this year's Wimbledon. You are riding the wrong horses - get off.

You can have almost double the winners as Djokovic or Nadal, but if you aren’t picking your spots to unleash your strengths and pulling back where necessary if your game is starting to unravel, then it isn’t going to do you any good. Double the winners doesn’t do any good if your error count is almost as high as your winner count. Djokovic and Nadal are great at making you think you need to do a lot more than you need to do especially at critical junctures of a match.

Actually, Berretinni reminded me of Marat Safin. Similar height, but Italian has 8 kg more... and 2 GS less.

I see Shapovalov much in front than Italian.
