It was a tough hold for Theim,maybe he needed that game to gain some confidence in the 2nd set

I have said that Thiem hadn't found his A-game yet this tournament, and he lost early in W&S. In the SF, Meddie was crap. He'd better rifle around in that bag and see if there's a serve in there.

The problem for Thiem is he doesn’t get many free points off his serve like the other top players. He and Massu are going to have to address that.

I think Thiem is done unless Zverev can’t maintain this level which is possible.

IF Zverev just focus on his serve, he will have a 2-0 set lead. But, Thiem is nervous as drum right now.

Thiem should dial back on his ground game until he has a handle on it and coax errors from Zverev.

Again with these 0-15, 0-30 starts that is the difference between him and the Big 3 they rarely get themselves in that position with Thiem it is like every service game.

Somewhat shocking match - Zverev looks terrific and Thiem looks shaky. Assuming Zverev wins this, Thiem will be 0-4 in GS finals. I wonder if he's in danger of being the new Andy Murray (3-8 in Slam finals, worst pct for 10 finals in Open Era history).

A glimpse of the yips in the last game from Zverev. When he starts having that he is able to lose any kind of lead. If he can manage to stay away from that he can win this match.

Yikes. I think Domi is not going to get it done unless Zverev panics. I do have to wonder if having a crowd would have changed the dynamics of this though.
