I read your best offense against best defense stuff in the past, Problem in your theory is Novak isn’t only defending.
Thiem is damn good but he lost to a shaky Novak. Two and a half good sets of Novak were enough. The opportunities thiem got in set 3 were nearly all by bad play of Novak and his UFE.
