If, as I predict correctly, NFL games will be played ( even with no spectators) and MLB will have a shortened season, I don’t see why the USO wont be played. Players can easily socially distance in tennis, I suspect some players won’t mind not having to shake hands with their snarly rivals.....:)

:face-with-tears-of-joy: Maybe this will put an end to the fake cuddling at the net for good. And, with no spectators, we won't have to put up with that vomit-inducing Djokovic celebration, either.

There was such poomp about Adria tour, because of Novak. That from USA and virus was mentioned once and forgotten. Epilogue is clear. Probably Djoker even wouldnt know he had virus, if Bolgarian Dimitrov wouldt be infected. Wanna say, are you 100% sure you didnt pass this virus ? I am not. I had some headache month ago. But wont go testing - its payable.

It just a normal part of evolution. You can among 4 walls, wear mask etc, result will be same. Mankind would hardly surrvive economical collapse, but we have 7 B poeple on Earth. Maybe a bit too much. So maybe not just evolution, but Nature can strike back too.

According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, David Ferrer could become the next coach of Alexander Zverev.Ferrer is going to spend the next 15 days with Zverev at Monte Carlo on a trial basis. Then they will decide if they keep working together. (good luck David, hopefully you can instill your good work ethic to Sasha)

Masks are the key to keeping infection rates very low. It’s such a small sacrifice to wear one. I just don’t understand why people can’t comply.

Not all people are smart, in fact most of them are not.

Regarding the Alanta Event, should at the very least test all the players and people who were in close contact with Frances Tiafoe ASAP.
They shouldn't be just going on as if nothing has happened.Still no word at all.

Good win for young Chris Eubanks over John Isner in Atlanta. Isner win loss ratio in the city of Atlanta is probably in the high percentages.

That's an interesting combination. (And probably a visual sight-gag.) Definitely Ferrer could have something to impart about work ethic. But, and this might seem counter-intuitive, Ferrer had a very solid spot-serve. Later in his career, he could rely on some cheap points. Zverev, for all of his 6'6" has probably been relying too much on his height for his serve. He's certainly got problems with it. Maybe if he stops taking his geometric advantage for granted and learns to be more selective and disciplined with it, he really could get somewhere with it.

We shall see,his partnership with Lendl did not last long, agree he needs help with his serve, for a tall player his serve should be a weapon,it is too inconsistent,he also lacks focus at times in important points.

That's my argument (both counts) for Ferrer.

The match I’m looking most forward to is Djokovic versus Kyrgios. They never liked each others, even less recently after the whole Djokovic COVID-19 fiasco. The fact that Kyrgios has won both of their meetings without losing a set makes it for the perfect match. Can you believe a scenario where Kyrgios spanks Djokovic again to become 3-0 against him? Djokovic would probably smash 10 rackets during such a match and Kyrgios will not shy away from rubbing it in.

Lets see if Nick will travel to the USO,here in Australia we are banned travelling overseas, our borders are closed, people have to apply to the government for 'special compensation' at the moment to travel overseas.,some of our tennis players are wary of travelling to the USA at the moment, with good cause.

Due to the ongoing situation surrounding COVID-19,the USTA has cancelled all five ITF World Tennis Tour Events taking place in the U.S. in August. This decision was made to ensure the health and safety of all those involved with these events.

Novak continue to have diarrhea of the month in regards to his tournament last month. It was the lack of social distancing and careless that was the issue not "opening too soon".
