The bookies are giving 15% chance to Tsonga (they gave 25% to Nick).

What are the odds on Pouille v. Fed? Seriously, just for a comparison. As if anyone cares about either, anyway. ;)

Fed vs Pouille. Beautiful match. Always enjoy watching Fed play a frenchman except Monfils and Chardy.

Nishikori defeats Johnson easily, punctuating his 400 win on the tour.
Just at tgd same time, Querrey beats Millman jn 3 sets.

...I call them players ranked in the top 30.

And I never said I was unbiased. I literally said tennis experts can be biased like you and me in an earlier post. Good talk as always.
what's the chance all of them are biased in favour of Nick's talent? no other player gets their consensus in such a way, so good for you to admit that you are biased, against him.

btw who else in top 30 (or any ranking for that matter) has gone 40-60 against the big 3? fluke a couple matches I'd say is unlikely already, but he's played them like 15 times. at some point one can see why the tennis greats see Nick that way.

Free lesson, and you are welcome.

Thrilled to see Querrey and Nishikori through to the second week. Just Sam's 4th trip to the 4th round here. But that's better than he's been able to do anywhere else. He'll get Sandgren or Fognini. I'd pick Querrey against either of them. Though I'd say both are also capable of beating Sam.

Nishikori still yet to drop a set. Though he's had a rather easy draw. Hardly anyone that could have challenged him.

Zero chance, Tsonga can't keep up mentally or physically. And his serve isn't as good as Nick's so Nadal will play the great traditional grass court game of returning 15 feet behind the baseline and then grind down a player with no backhand. Our best hope for this tournament to get a very early cleansing was Nick. An even better hope for a somewhat early cleansing was Cilic. Now the peasant's path to the semis is easy.

The guy keeps Tsonga waiting to start his serve. As always.

Tsonga didn't even make a first serve that game he was broken. That's the main reason he isn't anywhere near the threat Nick was.

Your lovely Italian served for the first set, but then dropped serve and got into a TB, which Schwartzman won, I see. I'm still rooting for the Beatiful One, though.

now it is just about hoping Tsonga can work those knees. Make this twat hurt, make him bend.

OMG, you're not just heartless, you're a broken record: Wish for the upset, complain about the opponent when he's losing, then the grass, then at least hope the guy hurts Rafa's knees. Rinse. Repeat.

I think it will be difficult to make it a close match because Tsonga doesn’t seem like he wants to be on the court. His serve is so feeble that he could get a bagel.

Yeah, I know. He dropped the first set the other day and then promptly reeled off 3 in a row. I'm hoping for a similar day

Tsonga looks pretty fat and out of shape. All the injuries and father time have not served him well. He's really slow and timing on the ball is well off. Very error prone.

When you see how well Nadal and Federer are still playing compared to say 2008/2009 which were Tsonga's best years there's a massive difference in how Tsonga plays now compared to back then. Federer's match should be much more competitive. Turned off Tsonga v Nadal. Rubbish match.
