The gulf in class is very evident in this match, regardless of result.

Federer’s defense in this match has been unreal...big credit to him. Let’s see if Nadal can try to break Federer’s serve in the next service game.

Well. It is about what you'd expect from the serve percentage stand point. Fed winning 76% of first serve points. Rafa 73%. Rafa 57% of second serve points. Fed 48%.

Those rallies there though. Those have got to be 2 or 3 of the 10 or 20 best rallies of the tournament. Getting right up there with Djokovic and RBA's 34 and 45 shot rallies. And some of what we saw from Riske and Serena and Riske and well, anyone she played.

Name me one rafa win where you haven’t claimed fed played terrible or had mono.. you can’t name one. It’s pathetic..

Lol man you really have me mistaken here. I never bring up the mono as a reason for 2008 struggles. But I like to focus on what my favorite player/team do wrong in defeat. Same as when I lose. That's the way I roll. That's the way I will always roll. It's very rare I will appreciate the way my favorite plays in a loss. 2014 Wimbledon final is one example off the top of my head.

Seriously mate, some of the Djoker/RBA rallies weren't great tennis.

So you say fed showed his age in second set but now old man is up and you claim his defense is unreal. Offense never goes with age but defense does so according to you, fed was old in second set and now playing unreal defense, which is not what old men can do.

And there's the difference in Rafa and Roger. Rafa coming up with some great serves. But also, Rafa is more likely to get the return into play in crucial points than Fed is. We've seen Fed his entire career, but especially the last ... 4 to 6 years struggle to convert his break chances. At least against the best players.

But. If he keeps creating them at the rate he is. He'll get one. Like he did earlier. Now another quick service game and he's a game from a 2 sets to love lead.
