There's the SABR, but it didn't work.

Roger's serve drop off is why he isn't great anymore. It drops off a lot as the match goes on.
It always dropped off between 04-07, opponents just weren’t good enough to capitalize.

That was mental from Roger. He'll regroup, though.

No it didn't, you didn't see an enormous drop in velocity. His serve has been like this for over a year.

Well. There's that set done and dusted. That just.... Even if he wins this thing from here, that just never looks good. Rafa has done this to Roger so many times over the years though it's just .... it's great from him of course. Apparently this is the first one sided set for Nadal at Wimbledon. Just hope Fed can find his level again in the third. He's at least gotta chill out. I'm not sure he's panicking. But he's certainly confused as to what to do. And he's just gotta stop with these shanks.

Yeah...Federer’s age (38) is showing here right now...but he is kinda smart to let this set go quickly and just regroup in the 3rd set

Age? In a second set? Buahahahahahah

It’s amusing how fed fans give nadal 0 credit... if fed wins, nadal lost to an old man.. if rafa wins, fed is old

Now, best of three match. Once again I am curious to see if Nadal can return well or can Federer get that first serve back...

That was beyond pathetic. His legacy is on the line here, better not keep playing like a pussy.

Nadal is a decent player. I admit that.

Disagree. If he wins, nobody will give a damn about the second set.

I mean. You gotta feel Fed can only go up from that set. But. Nadal looking really solid. Able to keep his intensity up. And Fed still unable to break despite the chances.

It happens to the great majority of tennis players, amateurs and pros alike (less for pros obviously, but still). This was a huge factor for Federer after 2010 but much less of a factor back then. He was able sometimes to lose strings of games to virtually anyone. Try to put it all to Nadal is wishful thinking to say the least.

I should probably just go to the gym after that 2nd set. Where's the harakiri emoticon? It's like winning the first TB used up all his effort or what ?

What makes you think I am Fedfan, MikeOne?

Your name gives away how much of a Federer fan you are. Mike just doesn't like any narrative where Roger's play drops off. That wa probably the best set Roger has played in Mike's mind.

Fed’s serve dropped off ALL the time between 04-07, it is humanly impossible to serve lights out every game.. his ability to beat opponents below his best was what made him federer...

No velocity on serve, didn't even have much this opening game of the 3rd set. Maybe he is only capable of 1 decent set at this point.
