atttomole clearly he tried gamesmanship, or he wouldn't have argue for replay after a clear winner from Fed

tennisplayerLA, you been watching? Fed is the one who could've won in straight and also won more games and points, and was just one point short when that serve jjust didn't click on MP

no justice, every set Fed could've won but lost, and then Djoker showed his true colours...….challenged when he knows he was about to lose the point, also Fed hit a winner and he tried to argue for a replay. Something just isn't meant to be, Fed clearly played the better tennis and lost. (flashback of 2010 and 2011 USO), Fed never got lucky when down match points but Djokovic kept getting those.

Now we will get Djoko type of players in tons, as they will model on this kind of uninspiring 'lockdown' game....with opportunistic behaviour to go with it. Fed played fair throughout, what fukn comparison.
Hahahaha

Salty, angry!

Djokovic was the better player, he basically gifted federer two sets! Went away and took a break.. when he was in lock down mode, federer couldn’t beat him.

Novak - KING OF GRASS... beat federer at his best and djokovic went away for two sets.. unreal! Federer could only take sets off when djokovic stopped playing for 2 sets... djokovic is KING. Hahaha

Federer fans. If it makes you feel any better at least you didn't also lose the Cricket World Cup Final in a super over on a tie in the super over due to less boundaries. Funnily the two defeats might be making me feel better. All I can do is laugh. I feel like I was just being played with for the last seven hours.

Stats
Djokovic / Federer
10 Aces 26
9 Double faults 6
61% First serve % 65%
74% Win % on 1st serve 78%
56% Win % on 2nd serve 56%
3/8 Break points 7/13
3 Tiebreaks won 0
64 Receiving points won 79
204 Points won 218
32 Games won 36
3 Max games won in a row 4
7 Max points won in a row 8
140 Service points won 139
26 Service games won 29

Almost every stat was in favour of Federer, most by quite a margin. How the fuk he lost? never seen another match where the losing player had such a lead in almost every category. Anyone knows the winner numbers? proves idiot like Mikeone doesn't know who is the offensive player.

2 match points and many other opportunities to win the match... B-)

Federer is now 4-10 and 6-10 against his 2 main rivals in slams... B-)

With Nadal and Djokovic much younger than him he will probably end at no.3 on the all-time list B-)

Because djokovic played like garbage for 2 sets and gifted them to federer. Duh!! Dummy! But when he decided to play his top level.. federer couldn’t beat him. Federer was lucky that novak went away physically and mentally for two sets, it was bizarre.. it could’ve been in straights.

You are nothing but a low life. Fed was better than him in every known important category, even Boris said he should've won the first set and Fed had set point in 3rd set as well. Every set Fed won, it was by huge margin. Every set he lost, all were tiebreaks....and he had chance in every one of those......including set points and match points. Deny all you want, but Djokovic has been unbelievably lucky, even since 2010/11 USO when Fed should've closed this cheater out.

Even though it must be absolutely mind numbing to realize that you have lost to the same player after having match points in a major event at once, not twice, but Thrace, Roger can at least recognize that Novak had a great return serve on the first match point and then came up with the goods with the cross court forehand hand passing shot on the second. Roger did not come in on the best of balls, but it was a very crunch moment and Novak did not panic. He hit the shot. Frankly, they both hit some amazing shots. Roger will forever view this as the worst of all of them. He had to championship points on his service and was not able to do it. This one hurts worse than the one in 2008 and my humble opinion because it would’ve been his greatest major victory ever by beating both Rafael and no back back to back, to say nothing of being almost 38 years of age when he did it.

Hahahahaha. What i saw today was a match where novak dictated what happened. Roger played a high level for 5 sets, djokovic played his top level for 3 sets, gave away 2 sets to fed. Isn’t it amazing that he still won? Shows you djokovic is KING. When he’s on, fed can’t beat him, when he’s off, fed sneaks in sets.

Watch out... 16 slams... we are getting tight!

every tiebreak set, Fed was within a point of winning. If that's top form lockdown mode Djoko, requiring Fed to chock to steal those sets, no wonder his highest level is only your illusion.

Championship point, Fed's first serve which got him 26 aces barely hit the top of tape. You know it should've been over, you know it.

Oh wait, i thought you were going claim federer choked or played terribly.. like ricardo and darth. kudos to you for actually being respectable.
That was early in the match, but as the match went on, Federer looked good enough to beat him. As the stats posted by Ricardo show, Federer had an upper hand in the match.

As a Nadal fan, I can understand your glee after Federer lost to Djokovic.

Unimaginable defeat. The worst choke of Fed's career. Federer flushed his career down the drain with those championship points.

I guess he's one of those geniuses whose career ends in tragedy. It's excruciating and sad but we'll have to live with it.

He has 20 slams.. he will move on from this. It’s a stretch to say this was a tougher loss than the 08 loss.. that was a changing of a guard back then, this was just fed looking for a bonus slam.

Yes but he should be careful because Kyrgios might aim the ball at his head the next time they play since he has 20 slams and can move on.
