^ Good post man, enjoyed the read. I'm shining my crystal ball at the moment (had a lot of crap attached to it after 2018)..

faker will win AO. dull will win his last slam and the last RG. USO will have a new winner. Fed will win #21 at Wimbledon.
You said many times that Roger is done winning slams. What made you changed your mind ?

I predict a blistering 2019 for Rafa, with 3 slams, tying him with the great Federer. Djokovic wins the other slam.
Hmmmm, even I know those are not your wishes I hope it will become true

Very true, they are not my wishes because I am a Federer fan, but that is my prediction. And the probability of that happening is not low.

Nadal camp and their obsession with Roger's slam count.

Like most, they're wondering how long Fed will hang in their costing their boy Rafa forcing him to work harder to pass him in the MAJOR count! There's has to be a huge amount of resentment that Nadal's had Roger's number for the most part, but is still considered the GOAT regardless of their H2H record! :cuckoo:

H2h doesn't make up for a 3 slam deficit and you play the whole field/tour and not one player, otherwise Davydenko is better than Nadal if you count h2h.

I don’t think H2H is very relevant to goatness. Djokovic could be goat now because he has a better H2H vs Federer and Nadal.

Djokovic is 5-9 in slams vs Nadal and Federer is 3-9 in slams vs Nadal. If slams are what matters most when we talk about accomplishments then h2h in slams is also what matters most when we talk about rivalries. You can't pick and choose. Have a nice day.

If you read my post correctly, you would have noticed that I did not pick and choose anything. In addition you statement doesn’t make much sense.

If Nadal was anywhere close to as good as Federer on grass then the h2h would be more even but he's nowhere near as good on grass as Federer is on clay considering both are each guy's respective worst surfaces. Luckily for Nadal and his annoying fans who are so insecure they harp on and on about h2h like it's the be all end all, Federer was good enough to play Nadal way more on clay than the reverse, Nadal wasn't good enough for them to have met more on grass so you all lucked out.

Pretty sure you wouldn't be so cocky if they played another 14 matches on grass even with Roger 37.

LOL you should better say luckily Federer and his ANNOYING fans who are very INSECURE that Nadal has had a chronic knee tendinitis, otherwise Federer never would have won his only RG and he also would have had a lot more competition on grass and HC because Nadal is enough good to play well in all the surfaces but his knee has been his worst opponent.
And remember, Nadal has beaten Federer en a Wimbledon final and an AO final

Of course I make sense. You don't say that Connors is greater than Federer because he has more "overall" titles cause the argument is that what matters most are the slam titles. Therefore you can't say that Djokovic is greater than Nadal because he has a better "overall" h2h cause what matters most are the h2h in slams. You can't have it both ways. :nono:

If Djokovic is greater than Nadal in h2h because of 27-25 instead of 5-9, then Connors is also greater than Federer because of 109-99 instead of the 8-20. If you say who cares about ATP250 or ATP500 or ATP1000 title wins then it also means who cares about the h2h in ATP250, ATP500, ATP1000 too! So if slams are what matters most it's also true for the h2h. :yesyes:

Have a nice day. :bye:

It looks like we are agree here. I had said that I do not think that that H2H are very relevant in the goat discussion, in response to Fiero425's post. That is why I was saying that if we use Fiero425's reasoning, then Djokovic would be the goat because he has better H2H against both Federer and Nadal.

Overreaching as always! I didn't say that; was totally what I was transferring into the psyches of Nadal and his team concerning Fed being the GOAT! If you're going to quote me at least do it in context! :nono:  :banghead: :cuckoo:   :ptennis:
