Man that was high qual tennis by both players. Love the way Stefanos plays and constantly took the attack to Federer. Why can't more tennis matches be played like this !!!

I won't be surprised now if Tsitsipas' level drops a little bit we will see if he can maintain his level and composure.

Stefanos need to keep up the tempo. I think this can ramp up a couple of levels yet but it's good to watch.

While Federer is serving well, Tsitsipas is just missing easy return of serves. I think Tsitsipas should take a book from Wawrinka in terms just blocking the serve back in play.

McEnroe in the booth on Channel 9... talking way too much as usual. Seems to be running a personal fan club for Tiafoe... can't stop talking about him.

Bad miss from Federer on that break point. Federer is starting to return better now...Tsitsipas is starting to teeter now...

he's picked up his game but forehand wing remains a shocker.

Have the sound muted here so I can keep an eye on my kid in the kitchen but McEnroe is a hilarious bandwagoner. It's embarrassing. Every day of the week there's a new greatest player ever or greatest forehand ever. All those "steroids that were too strong for horses" (his own words) he took for 6 years on tour have fried his brain.

Big hold from Tsitsipas on that game! The question still remains: Can he put pressure on Federer's serve?

yes and over here prior to Raonic first round versus Kyrigos, he claimed they were the two greatest serves in tennis history ! Really bizzare comment i thought.

Hilarious stuff alright. Sampras, Ivanisevic, Karlovic, Isner and even Federer, for example, are all better than those two in the serve department 'cos it's not just down to aces but placement, precision, variety etc over sheer speed. Sampras hit way less double faults than Raonic and Kyrgios too I'd imagine without even checking.

Yeah...once Federer started to return the ball in play Tsitsipas started to get tight with his shots. Also, Tsitsipas' first serve has started to desert him.

Stefanos is trying to give this game to Roger, but Roger just keeps finding ways to blow break-point.

They showed a stat before the last Stefanos service game and it was Fed holding on average in just over a minute and Stefanos over four, which I guess is moving closer to five after the last one. Lot more pressure on the Greek service game... but Federer has to start making good on some of these break points.

A terrible showing from Roger.

Last game there he had a lot of BP chances bit he was playing puke RBA style passive, pusher tennis. That's not how you go about trying to take the lead. Awful alright. Needs to assert himself more by going for his shots instead of that crap.
