Wow, your own irony is lost on you. Geriatric Fed takes a break and wins Oz with no prep, and you say, "Nothing to see here." You are divorced from reality. And I really hate you at this moment for once again betraying honorable and considered conversations that we've had about doping and TUEs. You continually ignore what has been said, and then just keep spewing your crap again, because you hope it will stick. It's not just childish, it's bordering on deluded. In general, you are a fun poster. On this issue, you are a complete troll. I mean that earnestly. Notice that you're not even commenting on the matches...just dropping in to troll Nadal and doping. I bet you'd have thought you were above that.

What honorable conversations have there been with TUE's? You think they should be allowed or you just give Nadal and Serena a pass?

So what's wrong with just ignoring this stuff ? I reckon he's firing and winding you up.
He's not winding me up, he's slandering Nadal. I've given him point-by-point arguments on dedicated threads, proving that his arguments are weak, and yet, he just keeps throwing shade, hoping that it will find purchase. I have told him that I won't let him just keep putting it out there, and I won't. I'm sorry for everyone else who has to read it. But he's the one that keeps polluting threads with it. I will keep calling it out for the trolling that it is.

There have been and you can take them there. Stop trolling.

credit where credit is due, thomas held serve to go up 3-2 in the third showing some fight when he was down 15-40.

Yeah he's trying. But , as has often been the case with thomas berdych, the lights are on but there's nobody home. Other players would have put in a more competitive effort than this.
So I'm not sure what you're point is: should someone else have gotten his slot here? Look, I'm no fan of Berdych. I never have been. I find his game boring, work-a-day, but I know it has been strong enough, and he's tall enough, with a big serve, to have lived a long time in the top 10. It doesn't make his game interesting. He made it to this round, and now he's getting trounced. Some players have reasonably solid games, but can't really hang with the big boys. Tomas is very likely at the end of his sell-by-date.

Happy birthday, Frances! And no wonder he's willing to take off his shirt. Let's face it...that is some 6-pack.

Great win for Tiafoe. Good to have him in his first grand slam quarter. But it only gets tougher from here. A date with Nadal is nearly set (assuming Berdych being able to hold and stay on serve here in the third doesn't mean he'll be making a full comeback.) Played a solid player tough today though. Pulled out 3 tight sets. Good signs. Good birthday win for him.

Frances so CUTE in the on-court interview. He looks like toast, but he won! Great step up for Tiafoe.

You know Thomas just might sneak out this third set. Nadal is off the boil.

That 5th game earlier in this set could prove to be a turning point, but Nadal is still well on top.

This is where @mrzz's assessment comes into play, I think. Nadal reverting to old play. Hanging back, and hitting the ball a bit short. Tomas just still coming up with the UFEs.

Mox, he's off the boil because He expected a tougher match and at the end of the 2nd set, eased up and yes, nadal's length on some of the baseline exchanges, has fallen short. Expect Berdbrain will self-destruct in the fourth set.

Nadal serves to stay in and get it to a TB. Maybe not so obvious.

Oh, I'm hoping there's no 4th set. Don't count your chickens, or birdbrains.
