Fog on grass? No way! Mischa maybe, but he didn’t get there.
When the draw first came out, I heard a few names tossed around as challengers to him, but you're right, none of them made it but Delpo and he wasn't able to take him out

I don't remember who said it. I know in the other thread names were tossed about.

That was GSM and BS.

Look, even DP doesn't have much grass court chops, and he hasn't shown a pulse for most of 9 years now. This was always a dream scenario for Rafa. And he has a walkover in the final now, so it comes down to the semi.

Oh Boy, what a match?

Congrats to Rafa. Also to JMDP for putting up such a great fight.

The moment it went to 5th set, I knew Rafa will win.

That 10th game in the 5th set was amazing. Rafa won it by sheer will power. This man is a fighter beyond imagination.

Me either, but I'll be the first to say I didn't have him getting this far and I didn't complete the draw challenge this year
I've seen him play Nadal the hardest he's ever been played and then lay over next tournament. Almost like a totally different person. I honestly think it's a mood thing with him...which is wild!

Well I don't think either match will be a walkover. Iznah can serve him off the court if he's able to get by Djoke

I think Djokovic knows what he has to do. He should be able to negate Rafa's serve. But Rafa can win by sheer grit ,as we have just seen.

You got Isner winning Wimbledon? I think not.

Of course he knows what he wants to do. Question is if he's ready and if he can.

Isner won't have a prayer in a GS final. Court will be even slower by then anyways. Besides the other muffin might take out Isner and bend over to his friend Nadal in the final.

No, but they both had easy draws through the QF, one took advantage barely and the other choked one of the worst matches in ATP history.
In fairness, before play started, Rafa's looked easier, but you're right, it evened out.

Nobody thought he would win Miami and look how that turned out. I realize Miami is not a grand slam, but as you have seen, anything can happen in a final.

I’m as worried about Isner as Nadal tbh.

He broke Raonics serve 3 times.

If he strings together some return points, clutches a TB you never know.
Plus the slower grass suits him more.

He has performed really well in the last two Grand slams.
