So Federer has to face two big servers before the final (Anderson, Isner/Raonic)

Anderson is a much lesser server than the other two. Any decent play from Roger and he's in the SF. The other two inherently pose a threat due to their serves.

Wouldn't it be a disadvantage for Fed if he plays two big hitters and a grinder like faker/dull in the final?

I think Federer will handle Anderson easily as well.
SF could be tougher if its Raonic having a great serving day, Isner will succumb to Fed's slice

A little disadvantage is getting less rhythm on his groundstrokes which he will likely need in the final.

Agreed

So because of the overpacked schedule of ‘manic monday’ Djokovic starts his match at around 7pm local time with darkness setting in at around 9 Pm. Yet another reason why the Sunday no play ‘tradition’ is utterly retarded.

dull through to the QF without dropping a set. Who would've thought such a day will ever happen but knowing dull's luck he could win the tournament without dropping a set.
I was pretty sure he'd be in week 2 the moment I saw the draw. No one who could step it up. Even on a more conventional grass court, a fearless attitude is essential to play him. He smells weakness like a bloodhound.

How does Simon hit so deep so consistently without any actual power? I find it fascinating.

Between attacking the net relentlessly, that's how I played just keeping the ball deep, floating it a lot of the time with backspin to keep it low and the player on the defensive! It's an old style, but I can appreciate it!  :yesyes:  :ptennis:

Easy. Simon says: hit the ball consistently deep without any actual power. Whenever he misses, Simon didn't say. ROFL!

I think Roger's draw should work in his favour. He can't have those silly lapses with these big hitters. And quite frankly Isner and Raonic will probably destroy each other. I expect Roger to sharpen his mental focus and by the time he gets to the final any serve he faces will be inferior to what he'll have to put up with to get there

I hope DP can make quick work of Simon. I think he has a decent chance against Nadal.

DP is either going to lose or go 4 hours... of course. Only question remaining on that half is if Nole can reach the semis

Del pony is going to lose all his energy in this match and once again play on an empty tank against Nadull. It is so obvious.

He just isn't that good IMO. People hype him because he's had such bad luck with his wrist.
